So, probably a bit early to rate as my grandson only recently opened. That said, my daughter in law appreciated the item and had put it on a list for him. I am hopeful it will last, although the softness or flexibility of the material does make me wonder a bit, why the 4 rating across the board.

I had been looking for a sturdy non plastic sand toy set and Im so glad I found this one by Blue Ginkgo. Plastic tends to get brittle and usually breaks over time. I wanted something that would grow with my toddler for longer than a year. Ordered the yellow bucket, shovel, pastel molds, and blue carry tote set a few weeks ago and its gotten daily use every day! My 2.5 year old loves loves LOVES it all. In the sand pit, in the wood chip playground, and at the beach. Its light enough for him to carry to the park. Very easy to clean with soap and water and towel dry for more pretend play indoors. The durability so far has been fantastic. The bucket and shovel are light enough for easy carry, but sturdy enough to keep up with my toddler. Highly recommend.

I went back and forth whether or not to pay so much for silicone beach toys when plastic ones are everywhere for a penny, but was delighted when these were actually in my kids hands. Since every thing is silicone and flexible, it lends itself to little hands. The kids are able to make shapes and even the bucket is easier to transport water, because theres some give to it. The shovel feels surprisingly normal and I love that its less likely to poke someone. And the fact that it comes in a beach friendly net bag the kids can carry means its ready to use. The available colors are even better than other silicone toy options. These are easier to spot in the sand than the trendy muted earthy tones!

Love these silicone beach toys. So different and much better than the plastics beach toys. They however may not stand out on the beach due to the muted colors like traditional beach toys! We will see.
