> 24 hourWhen I moved last year the Blunt umbrella was lost so I thought maybe a cheaper one would do. But I decided to grit my teeth and pay the price for a new one.. These umbrellas are worth the price. None of the usual problems with other cheaper ones. The one I lost always made me feel special...it never disappointed me

> 24 hourCan handle most south florida storms with ease. Next legitimate test will be an actual hurricane. Which I daresay we will get eventually. ;). Impressed with the quality.

> 24 hourI get compliments on this umbrella all the time. Did not know an umbrella could be so good. The corners can wear thin after a lot of use. Only other con is that its expensive, so I was sad when I lost this. Tells you a lot that I immediately had a new one shipped.

> 24 hourPros: Authentic Blunt, excellent materials, durable construction, lightweight, good size. Love that they kept the factory packaging. Cons: This is more of a quibble. The strap used to keep it closed is sewn right onto the canopy without any backing or reinforcement from the inside. To me, that seems quite the oversight as that seam will see a lot of stress over the life of the umbrella.

> 24 hourGood looking and a nice concept. However. There is no lanyard, no pouch of any kind either shipped with umbrella or available for this model in general. The umbrella is made entirely of plastic. And its very thin in some places. One of the arms broke off right at the stem pivot just from opening an umbrella. And this after only 6 month of moderate use, no wind, light rain. Just opened and ....snap! Ive had regular run of the mill department store umbrellas that lasted longer at 1/4 of the price!!! Sent an email to Blunt to no avail. No response what so ever, not even a tough s***. Just silence. I would not recommend this umbrella and will never buy any of Blunt product ever again. I learned my $90 lesson, thank you for education Blunt.

> 24 hourIve used Blunt umbrellas for years and they are the absolute best. Unfortunately i loose them often, so the bright red helps to identify them!

> 24 hourThis snapped in half (literally the metal broke) during a rainstorm. Thus, claims about it holding up in the wind should be taken with caution.

> 24 hourIve had all kinds of experiences with umbrellas, and this one wins. Id recently purchased (and promptly returned) a WindPro umbrella that turned into a portable birdbath after five steps in mild winds. When I received this umbrella I knew from the moment I picked it up that it was solid and strong. It took a little more effort to open than other umbrellas do, but the force required to lock it out keeps it from inverting in strong winds. I cant say Ive had it in hurricane winds yet, but the storms its weathered thus far leave me confident that itll stand up to a gale. The blunt tips are also quite nice, since I tend to walk with the family and dont want to put any eyes out. This is a great umbrella, bot functionally and stylistically!
