> 3 dayOf all the things I can forgive for the sake of aesthetics its the tiny, two finger handle that wobbles that seems completely unnecessary at this price point. I knew going into this that the coverage wasnt great because of the design but the design was why I wanted to get the umbrella in the first place. Unfortunately, the tiny, wobbling handle makes it unpleasant to hold for even short periods of time (which is all youll really want to use it for as it doesnt block a lot of rain for its size. Even if you love the look, Id get something else.

> 3 dayWhat I really like about this umbrella are the smooth tips. Its not going to poke someone in the eye on a crowded street or when your kids are using it etc. The other thing that is unique about this umbrella is that the top swivels freely from the handle. This takes some getting used to. At first I didnt like it, but its ok because this feature actually helps buffer the effect of strong winds. When it is open, this is about the same size as my expensive davek umbrella, although the davek umbrella collapses smaller for more compact travel. The grey color is very nice!

Greater than one weekThis is the best umbrella out their. I got info on this product from gear patrol. I was in a 40mph rain storm, no problems at all. The umbrella moved all over from me not controlling it. It never folded. If it was 90mph, I would have floated like Mary Poppins. Ill get 2 more.

> 3 dayWhile this umbrella has many fine features, I’ve found that it hasn’t supplanted my Repel Easy Touch for daily carry in my backpack since it doesn’t keep me as dry on days that are both windy and damp. The Blunt Metro is robust enough to handle winds in excess of what it is sensible to be out in, but the relatively shallow canopy and scalloped edge leave the user vulnerable to driving rain. The fabric itself sheds rain well and dries quickly, and the yellow color is cheery. The handle is easy to grip even in wet and windy conditions, and the mechanism functions smoothly. The ribs are sturdy, and the rounded, reinforced pockets at the edges eliminate the risk of poking someone in the eye. Wrangling a wet umbrella into the cover is a snap thanks to the zippered gusset.

> 3 dayLe produit est arrivé taché. Un peu dommage considérant le prix d’achat élevé (une centaine de $). De plus, le parapluie s’est retrouvé à l’envers dès la première utilisation. Vraiment déçue de cet achat, un parapluie bas de gamme aurait mieux fait son travail de parapluie, malheureusement.

> 3 daySummary: Being an engineer, I really appreciate the design work that has gone into the BLUNT line of umbrellas. The single best feature is the contact point between frame and the edge of the canopy, which is not just a single point, as is typical. Observations: This umbrella operates smoothly. My wife loves vibrant colors, which is why I selected the bright tangerine orange (most of the colors are bright and vibrant). This is a compact size umbrella, not small enough to fit in a purse or pocket, but not a full size either. BLUNT makes several sizes, check out their store (link below). Pros: Great fit & finish; innovative engineering; smooth operation. Cons: Cost. Conclusion: At $69, this is a little expensive, but you truly get what you pay for, so rating this 5-stars. > 3 dayBought it based on reviews. It does look wind-resistant and generally seems to be a product of high quality. The color is bright. Its unbelievably easy to put the umbrella into its case. Its a big heavy to carry on every day and takes quite too much space. The paradox is: it is big when closed but child-size when open. However, wide umbrellas dont make sense when they turn inside out:) I give it 4 star manly because of the price and Id like it to be just a little bit wider.
