> 3 dayI’ve had so many umbrellas over the years, all of which have broken fairly quickly. Not this one. It can really withstand the wind. It’s expensive but cheaper than buying a lots of cheap ones. An umbrella to last a lifetime, unless you leave it on the train.

> 3 dayUnfortunately, this umbrella did not live up to its standards. Opened it on a very windy day, and the shaft just bent immediately. The umbrella panel is nicely designed, but the ribs, shaft and handle are very flimsy and of low quality. Absolute waste of money.

> 3 dayI love, love, love, my blunt umbrellas. This is my smallest one and is perfect for travel. I stuff it in my carry on for my travels and it doesnt take up too much space. I wouldnt use this for extended walks in the rain as it leaves your legs exposed, especially if its coming down sideways. For shorter jaunts, though, its perfect. The material is super high quality and durable, and it has withstood serious beatings both from wind, rain, and debris. I would argue that the umbrella is not quite windproof as a 30-40mph gusts caused it to bend and invert, but otherwise its super solidly built, and is definitely my best portable umbrella. I wish it could collapse even smaller to fit in briefcases, etc, but then it would compromise some of the awesome structural integrity that it has.

> 3 dayThe patchs at the rounded corners are good quality. The extra support legs helped add to high wind resistance. However, the handle and telescopic stem feel no different from that of a normal $5 umbrella; too much lateral play between stem columns and handle is not solid not long enough to hold steadily during a storm.

> 3 dayHave not yet used this in the rain but I researched umbrellas prior to purchase. It seems well made and the open/close mechanism appears to work well. I cant give it 5 stars because I havent had it out in rainy weather yet!

> 3 dayThis is a very large, nice umbrella that folds up compactly. It wont fit in my car glove box but will fit in the side panel pocket since traveling is what I will be using this for the most. It does repel water great and can also shade you from the sun as well. This will also come in handy if I want to stay dry when dealing with my poultry pets on an extremely rainy day.
