I have been buying this brand for a few years already and for the money they are solid and work well with my 3 ton centralized a/c unit. I have a cat and a dog that shed so much I wonder if they would go bald one day. I change them every month and no a/c coil issues so far.

    1. Highly comparable to more well known brands for air filters at a very competitive price 2. A visible and prominent arrow indicating the direction of airflow is very helpful. It is very noticeable and it helped make sure that I was able to put it the right way 3. The filter is looks sturdy 4. I also liked that it had a box for me to write down the date when the filter was installed- it is something that is so easy to forget otherwise 5. I liked the packaging, the pack of filters came in a transparent plastic wrapping which helps preserve the unused filters. The other brands I have purchased previously didnt provide the additional protective layer

Ive had these filters for almost a month now and they are holding up pretty well. The 20x20x1 size fits without issues and my system does not complain with any airflow issues. The air filters I have been using are HDX FPR 9 (MERV 12 equivalent) rated for up to 3 months but I change them every 30-45 days when the HVAC is on daily as I have two dogs. With these BNX filters, it looks like they will last about the same time as they have a simialir MERV 13 rating. The filters are still pretty clean but my HVAC hasnt been on much with the autumn weather so we will see once winter arrives. On the days where I did turn on the HVAC I did notice the amount of dirt in the Rooma was a little bit less so it appears the filters are working as they should. If these last the same amount of time as the HDX filters these may become my go to as they are half the price.

I tape the 20 x 20 filter to a 20 box fan, to clean the air in my home. Really helps keep dust down. I dont have a forced air furnace.

I dont usually write reviews, but when I do, it is either worse or best review. All I say is, this is much, much better than Walmart and homedepot filters. Very good made, weldone. I recommended this filter and I think you wont regret it.

Below is my experience, but these may work for you. The moment I put this filter in, my HVAC unit started whistling very loudly. This can be an indicator of a faulty filter or an imbalance in the air intake system. So I changed to another new filter from the packet to see if I got a bad one. Same exact whistle. There are no defects in the filers that I can see. But apparently, these restrict airflow so much in our unit, that it makes and awful noise. That will make the system inefficient, use more energy, and possibly cause damage over time. (This is a brand new AC thats less than a year old so its not a clunker right now.) I bought these filters because they were cheaper than the name brand I was using and supposedly, theyre a higher MERV rating with better filtration. My mom and I both have asthma and hers flairs up badly during pollen season, so I need to change our filter a lot. This filter has far fewer (less than half) the folds of our old filter which means much less surface area to catch particles. There is only wire mesh on one side so its less sturdy and the filter itself is thick and fluffy. Which would make you think it would work better, but I dont think so. It looks like its made cheaper, but I got what I paid for. Im not mad. These filters are fine. Im just disappointed that they didnt work out for me. Your mileage may vary. They may work for your system with no issues. There are a lot of positive reviews so they obviously work for some. Give it a shot and you might get lucky. I need to go back to what I was using, but it was worth it just to know for sure.

For the price these seem to be thicker than many of the other filters I’ve used. We rescue cats and that generates a lot of hair and dander. These filters help to keep the blower motor on the HVAC clean which means it will last longer and the air is cleaner. Totally recommend
