Greater than one weekI purchased this floatie after reading all the great reviews. We have been spending more time swimming in the ocean as its one of the acceptable activities during our states stay-at-home order, so I wanted to get a safe life jacket/floatie that allowed my 3.5 y/o the freedom to move around. I had previously purchased the Stearns Heads-Up Child Vest, however it didnt allow my child to move around freely, and tended to turn him on his side/back. This one works great! My son feels very comfortable in it, and hes able to float upright on his own without his body turning over. Hes also able to keep his head above water. Just yesterday we took him out on a boogie board for the first time to ride the shore break. He experience his first wipeout, however this swim life jacket allowed him to surface upright with his head above water. He came up from the water all smiles! Its very lightweight, and not bulky. Perfect for his size, which is 40 tall, and about 38 pounds. He is able to grow into it a little more. Easy to clean and store. I just wash it off with a hose then hang dry. I think this swim life jacket is best for little ones learning to swim and who are more active in pools and swimming close to shore. The more heavy duty ones are more suitable if youre bringing kids on open water like on a boat. I would purchase this product again.

> 3 dayvery please with this. It gave me so much peace on the beach and in the pool. when your baby is running around and behind the slides the kiddie pool and you loose sight... This clips in the back so he cant take off these floaties. The chest float design doesnt ride up and choke baby like a zip life vest.

> 3 dayThis is perfect for my 2 yr old son. He didnt do well with traditional life jackets, he couldnt look around and turn his head. With this he has the freedom to swim and explore. This one is coast guard approved, so we can take it to the YMCA and local pools. This keeps him afloat but gives him the ability to put his face under water and be independent when we go swimming. This is a big lifesaver for this anxious mama.
