This tape smells so toxic it’s making me sick, burning my eyes and my skin. Do not buy this product it’s got something poisonous emitting from it and my entire house smells like chemicals because of this tape.

I move a LOT. That means I have used pretty much every recognizable brand of packing tape, and a lot of it. Most perform pretty much the same. This brown packing tape comes with a dispenser, which is its first great feature. It isnt the stickiest tape Ive used, but the adhesive does hold so far--though I dont know how well it would hold out over long periods of time. The only real annoying feature is that it is loud. It squeaks loudly as you pull the dispenser across a box. Sometimes that loud squeak fades with use, or as the roll gets smaller, and I expect that to be the case here. I think this is a fair price for 12 rolls AND a dispenser, and the quality of the tape itself is pretty standard. Recommended for value!

Feels thicker, looks strong. Tried tearing it and found it not as easy to tear. So far so good. The added dispenser is nice but not necessary as most folks have this already. Should consider not including the dispenser to lower the cost. Will buy again.

This tape is as good as any other tape. It is super heavy duty at 2.4 mil, it seals boxes, its 1.88 wide and each roll gives you 60 yards. The tape is not all warped and bubbly, but it is in date and will hold your boxes closed until you cut them open. Great value and highly recommend.

Strong tape; works great for short or long haul moves, but needs added length for bug heavy boxes. I would also invest in Some snap knife box cutters for moving day.

I pack and ship large boxes every day. I prefer to use Duck HP260 clear packing tape, but in an attempt to save money, I am trialing some of this brown tape. After using four rolls of it last week, and not getting any reports of packages arriving opened, so far Im very pleased. I also bought a nice TENDO handheld dispenser, with the angled blade, and between the tape and the dispenser, Ive had no problems applying and handling this tape. Much of my taping involves pinching cardboard pieces together around a flat, square-edged product, and then applying tape with as much tension as possible. The break angle of the cardboard over the edge of the item is what immobilizes it in the package. The tape must not just stick, it must be pulled very tight, and *then* stick, and not come loose. So far, so very good! Note: I still use the Duck tape for shipping labels, and more, but over time I could see this brown tape taking over every other function. I really did not expect it to perform so well.

This pack of 12 would be a great value for the price IF the tap was actually sticky. I ship a lot of items and I use a lot of packing tape. I thought this would be a good alternative that was a cheaper value for the quantity. Other reviews made me believe this stuff was magical. It’s not. It’s as sticky as dollar store packing tape, which isn’t that great. I’m really disappointed because I’ll need to use twice as much to tape boxes to be sure it holds.
