> 3 dayBack in middle and high school I use to skateboard with my friends and these were my go to bearings. Since college I bought a penny board with a pair of reds and they work just as good now as when I use them back in the early 2000s. They are fast and smooth. Just like any pair of bearings avoid water as they will rust out but they can take a few fits before you need to replace them

> 3 dayRedz are probably the best bearings you can get without paying a fortune. Seriously, unless youre a pro in need of high performance parts (which I already know youre not because a pro wouldnt need to read an amazon review on these, theyve already used them and probably still do), there is no reason to buy anything other than redz. I usually get second-hand boards so I always put a new set of redz in before doing anything else. No matter what kind of board you have, you can make it feel brand new with a set of redz. I will never buy another brand of bearings.

> 3 dayThese Bearings have stood the test of time. They come from a reputable company, and Ive used them in all of my boards since childhood. Over the past few years Ive taken up Longboarding, usually riding friends boards around town. When I decided to build my own last summer, The choice of bearings was an easy one for me. I didnt want ceramics because one, Im heavy, two there are quite a few hills outside my riding ability where I skate, and the springs where I live bring water, dirty, sandy, salty water. Anyone who knows bearings knows those three things make for a very unhappy ceramic bearing, or any bearing in general really. I knew bones were easy to clean and keep up, so I went with these. Upon arrival, I stripped them, and packed them lightly with a heavier weight waterproof grease. Like any good bearing, they do require some break in. After several outings these things are a whole different animal. Even with the heavier weight grease and a softer durometer wheel, they just want to keep spinning. Kudos to Bones for making a high quality bearing that is affordable on virtually any skaters budget.
