Typical chemi pure quality. The extra ingredients they used in this blue work well. I have seen a decrease in phosphate and NO3 in testing. Im using two in a 55 gallon reef with a 30 gallon sump. I also have a protein skimmer in the sump. Water has been crystal clear. I recommend using this product even if doing RO/DI water. I have used Chemi pure since its came out. Its the best for keeping water clean and clear. Plus being in bags no issues of spilling trying to fill filter and changing monthly. I change mine once every three months. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Seriously? Best out there...good to ass a Chemi-Pure elite for the ferric oxide though...unless you use a GFO of course. ;)

Not bad - you need quite a bit for 150G tank and it is expensive- I think Purigen might be the way to go- if this was cheaper I think I would stick to it, but not sure how anyone thinks this is better than Purigen? Convinence is fine but after about 2 weeks I saw a massive decrease in clarity (even after water change etc). Just too short lived for the $.
