> 24 hourI tried three other brands of high end skates before landing on these. As someone with wider feet, I needed skates that weren’t tight and would give a little here and there. These skates are so comfortable. I use them outside at a basketball court and they roll really smooth. The color is gorgeous too!

> 24 hourThese are my first pair of skates in a long time. Moxie skates were just too expensive but these are just as good! They’re extremely comfortable and easy to learn on if you’re getting back into skating. They also came with a skate wrench. Not sure why people said it didn’t (so I bought a skate wrench not needing it).. mine (the turquoise pair) came with a wrench. I can’t wait to use these more! They’re a lot of fun!

> 24 hourI was a professional dance skater 25? years ago. My expensive skates no longer fit due to changes in my feet. I knew I wanted good skates but didn’t want to spend what I did back then because I wasn’t even sure I could still skate. These are awesome. Indoors and out. I don’t do rough surfaces because I still have a “protect me wheels” mentality but for smooth rink wear, I’m overjoyed that these are so great right out of the box. I checked all the wheel bearings and you definitely want to tighten the stoppers if you’re keeping them on the skates. The stoppers are loose (most are because everyone likes them at a diff height). Extremely comfortable even on my aging feet. Roll with a nice medium spin perfect for anyone who knows how to skate already. If you’re a beginner the bearing speed may take some getting used to but even when I was teaching beginners, I preferred a wheel that spins well. If you have cheap or old skates or ever try rentals, spin a wheel with your hand and you’ll see what I mean. Slow spin wheels make it much more difficult to learn in my humble opinion but they do it out of safety and use cheap bearings. These are NOT those! I can’t imagine anyone would be disappointed with these skates unless they’re a mega pro skater that needs the best of the best. I bought my usual size 8 to account for a foot problem even though my foot is actually a 7.5. Add a thick sock which is always nice when you’re on your feet for a while and these fit perfect. Plus… they’re so pretty!!!

> 24 hourAfter I replaced the cushions, what an improvement. They are a little soft for me.

> 24 hourIm getting back into skating after a 25 year hiatus. Call it menopause, midlife crisis, quest for youth...I dont care. Its great fun exercise and Im loving it. The living room carpet is rolled up and the disco ball is on its way. Heres real review of these skates: Im normally an 8-8 1/2 and originally ordered a 9 based on other reviews. The boot was HUGE. I returned it and got an 8. While its a bit snug now, its going to stretch out. Apparently have wide feet for roller skates, not in my regular shoes. Ive tried other skates and these are it! Theyre REALLY comfortable. My feet dont hurt at all and theres no real need to break them in. The insole is nice a cushy. The boot is stitched well. I will probably change out the bearings, wheels (for some that arent rounded and sparkle) and laces just for a pop of color. They appear to be real suede inside and out and nicely padded. Youll definitely need a skate key to adjust the wheels. They show up super tight and barely spin. Once theyre adjusted, its a smooth nice ride.

> 24 hourI love the look of the skate. The comfort is perfect. The sole has a memory foam snd padding around the ankle/chin. Easy to control movements. The wheels have just enough bounce you need trying to OG skate. Im a newbie at this style of skating so I need all the comfort I can get. The only issue I have is that the left front stopper keeps coming off. Other then that for the price, comfort and style they get 5stars.

> 24 hourThese BTFL skates are awesome. The toe-box is smaller than the Impalas and I like that. I typically wear a size 10 or 10.5 mens and the Eur 43 is perfect.

> 24 hourBrand new out of the bow I would have given these about 4 stars but with the help of reading other reviews giving these skates just a few adjustments they are worthy of 5 stars for a beginner/novice skater. The first positive for these skates has to be the adjustable toe stop which is less often seen for a skate of this price range. It really is an invaluable help because I feel each person has their own preference for stopping etc . The faux suede is soft and playable but still offers enough support for your ankles. Overall I have to say the look of these skates is super appealing and well done. What I changed/plan to change The insoles that come with these are flimsy flat pieces of foam, but having read the reviews I ordered an inexpensive pair of memory foam inserts and let me tell you it makes these skates a dream to use. That in combination with the ankle pads make these incredibly comfortable. I do also plan on switching out the wheels to some wider gummy wheels since these are rounded on the edges and not quite best for the skating I’m doing- but that’s not necessarily a negative more of a preference. The only real -negative- is that they don’t come with a skate tool but those are easily bought and rather inexpensive. All in all I love them so far and will update in the future about how they are holding up

> 24 hourMy daughter is 10 years old and a pretty good skater. She’s 100lbs and wears a size 6 in women (really like a 5/12, I just go up a size). I purchased the size sevens so she can try to hang on to them for a while (since she’s growing like weeds). She was super stoked, the faux leather feels awesome. She put on a pair of thin footsies and the skates still were not overwhelming and way too big. I have to buy her some fat outdoor wheels, since they are inside skates. They slowed her up outside of course. She has only worn them twice and not inside yet. So I will try and update when we get to the rink. Worth the money so far.
