> 24 hourThese BTFL skates are awesome. The toe-box is smaller than the Impalas and I like that. I typically wear a size 10 or 10.5 mens and the Eur 43 is perfect.

> 24 hourI was skeptical about sizing at first. Ordered a 9.5 in mens for the Faya pro. I am normally a 9-10 in mens shoes. They fit absolutely perfectly. Super snug, not too tight, not too loose. Overall great skate. Definitely recommend if you want something like Moxi Lollys but cheaper.

> 24 hourThese are comfortable from the start! No “break-in” phase. The wheels are pretty loose though, so if you’re new to skating you’ll need to tighten them because you can get going pretty fast right away in them. Plus, I love the color!

> 24 hourDisclaimer: I’m a novice skater. Also, I’ve been skating in my BTFLs for less than a week. These Skates go above and beyond for the price point. This boot is super soft, comfortable and flexible. It’s seems comparable to the Moxi Lolly boot as far as fit and quality. I can’t speak on durability yet. As a person with long legs and poor squatting ability, flexibility in the ankle means being able to bend the legs easily AND keep the torso in an upright position rather than heavily leaning forward. It’s feels safer to me. If you’re feeling unstable, you can always tighten the trucks. Or if you want maximum stability to land jumps or you prefer the skatepark I think a stiff boot is generally recommended. I replaced the plate, trucks and bearings before trying so I can’t speak on those. But the wheels are very decent gummy/outdoor wheels good for cruising and very pretty. The laces are great and I love the large heel tabs that make these so easy to carry. More skates should have them! Cons: You’ll probably need to replace the insoles. They’re paper thin and hard but that’s a very affordable fix. These skates don’t come with a tool which you do need to at least loosen the wheels a little. All in all, these skates are seriously a steal. I can’t afford the price of Moxi Lolly’s or the guilt of real suede Hahahaha UPDATE: Two years later of mostly park skating These skates are still in pretty good shape for all they’ve been through. I will definitely be purchasing the same pair once mine finally give out. The boot is still EXTREMELY comfortable. If you want ankle mobility, these are a dream. The right toe has broken open a little but that’s what happens when you don’t wear toe guards, especially at the skate park. My laces also broke. Not from normal wear or poor quality, but from repeatedly sliding down concrete transitions.

> 24 hourI love these skates! The quality is evident as soon as you open them up. I wear 8 wide in most shoes, however I ordered a 7, based on the measurements charts. Perfect fit with plenty of room. An 8 would have been huge. Its challenging for me to to find comfortable shoes, but these are a dream. I am thrilled with the comfort level. The uppers have enough support with plenty of give if crouching is required. Padding at back prevents chafing and is a pretty accent, too! I did replace the insoles, which I believe is expected. The liners make great templates for replacements. The wheels are nicely rounded so you dont hook an edge. They just feel good! I made minor adjustments to the bearings to speed them up. Easily done with the handy 3 way wrench that is included. Adjusts trucks, brakes and bearings.

> 24 hourThese skates were pretty good for a while and Id definitely recommend them as a good beginner skate, especially for someone who weighs <200 pounds. But as a 240lb male these do not feel sturdy enough around my ankle.

> 24 hourIm getting back into skating after a 25 year hiatus. Call it menopause, midlife crisis, quest for youth...I dont care. Its great fun exercise and Im loving it. The living room carpet is rolled up and the disco ball is on its way. Heres real review of these skates: Im normally an 8-8 1/2 and originally ordered a 9 based on other reviews. The boot was HUGE. I returned it and got an 8. While its a bit snug now, its going to stretch out. Apparently have wide feet for roller skates, not in my regular shoes. Ive tried other skates and these are it! Theyre REALLY comfortable. My feet dont hurt at all and theres no real need to break them in. The insole is nice a cushy. The boot is stitched well. I will probably change out the bearings, wheels (for some that arent rounded and sparkle) and laces just for a pop of color. They appear to be real suede inside and out and nicely padded. Youll definitely need a skate key to adjust the wheels. They show up super tight and barely spin. Once theyre adjusted, its a smooth nice ride.

> 24 hourAs soon as I got them, I tried them on. They are beautiful and feel very comfortable. They are the perfect fit- was worried about them not fitting because I wear a 9&1/2-10, and the option was either 9 or 11, so I went with size 9. Perfect fit. I put on longer socks, and laced them up, and they fit nice and snug. Using some wrench tools I loosened up any tight wheels and tightened any too-loose wheels, so they were all the same, and adjusted the stopper with a wrench as well. I hadn’t gotten any protective gear, and since I don’t know how to roller skate, I had to take it easy and practice carefully on my hard wood floors, and I pretty much got the hang of it very easily! Didn’t fall, or get stuck at all, very smooth rolling, and didn’t take them off all day! I very much highly recommend, they are so worth it.

> 24 hourGreat for beginners. Or those who already know how to skate but haven’t in quite some time. I decided to customize them to look more my style. But they looked great before hand.

> 24 hourI was looking to learn to rollerskate and I stumbled across these. I knew nothing about skating and after reading the reviews I settled on these being a great bang for my buck. I picked right! I love these! They came pretty quickly. No cheap plastic parts, comes with an adjustment tool and the boots fit great. I went up a half size because I read they ran a little small and I would definitely recommend doing that. After having them for a few months I love skating. They are like an extension of my legs. The wheels are in-between hard and soft so they work both indoors and outdoors. I would recommend getting a pair of toe covers if you dont want to scuff up the suede on the boots but that is more my fault than the boots. Overall they beautiful great skates!
