Nice size to fit in just one corner of the whelping box. The ONE downfall, which isn’t the fault of the manufacturer- I had to have one corner lifted to accommodate the corner of the box. The puppies liked to be under the pig rails, but would get stuck in a corner due to the cord. Again, there isn’t really a way around this, so I don’t blame the heating pad. We kept this thing on, at the same temp, for the first 5 weeks. I have now removed it from the box, since the puppies are older, and more mobile. They were really trying to chew the cord, but to no avail. Would recommend for anyone needing a heating pad.

I ordered one of these, and after finding no flaw and seeing that my cats enjoy it, I ordered a second. The heat is well-distributed, and the pad is merely warm to the touch even on the highest setting. I like this. My principal concern about a heating pad was possible overheating, and a possible fire hazard. The fact that this pad does not get hot reassures me. The cover is soft and comfortable. The cats have taken to them. I do not see that either cat has attempted to scratch into the pad. There is nothing not to like about this pad thus far. The English of the Manual is choppy, but is clear enough. One quirk with both pads : At first after being plugged in, and pressing the switch button, neither of them turned on. After a pause, I tried again, and after 2 or 3 times, and both turned on and have worked well since. Nothing in the Manual explains this, so I mention it.

My cat is OBSESSED with this mat. I bought it for the pet safe settings, chew resistant cord, and 24-hr timer. Once I got it I noticed you can just turn it on without a timer so I leave it on that while I’m at work. Usually she would holler for me an hour before I got home, then she’d be at the door hollering at me for her breakfast, and scarf down her food. Now, her separation anxiety has all but melted away and her food aggression has gone down several notches. The original reason I got this was to keep her warm after getting her shaved, but it looks like this mat has some unexpected perks for her mental well-being as well.

Works well. Easy to control with timer. Though my feral cat still hasn’t used it. Still skittish.

I put this in a chair on the back porch for my indoor/outdoor kitty. She loves it and wants to stay out longer. She sat outside in freezing weather and was grooming. I like that i can set the control for hours. I saw a muddy racoon footprint on it but it was easy to clean and they were unable to damage it.

So far, so good! Love the max time of 24hrs. Fits well in “large doghouse “ I use for an outdoor cat.

I have one of these that I keep in a little cat house on the porch for the stray thats been hanging around for years but wont come inside. My mom asked where I got it so I ordered one for her as she has a stray in her backyard that shes been feeding. She lives in Michigan, the winters are cold. She placed a tarp over her patio table and keeps it underneath. The stray enjoys the break from the cold.

My cat loves this thing! I put it underneath her little bed and I turn it on overnight while the central heating in my house is off, using the timer. Its really convenient and my cat sleeps on it every night. The one thing I dont like is that it gives off a chemically plasticky smell that bothers me a bit. Makes my cat smell like plastic too after she sleeps on it, even though its only underneath her bed so she doesnt even sleep directly on it. Its not that strong and I hope it goes away... but Im keeping it because my cat loves it so much!

My outdoor cat had kitties. It’s still cold as heck at night. Out of guilt inbuilt them a shelter and now they nice and warm and I feel better
