> 24 hourI have begun expanding my outdoor camera group for the perimeter of my house. Installation along the eaves of the roof through the attic doesnt favor running AC power and getting a good Wifi signal into the main floor of the house. So I have started to install POE cameras. Rather than install multiple PoE injectors, I purchased this PoE+ switch. I have two cameras connected thus far and they are connecting well with my network. I am watching how the summer heat affects this PoE+ unit in the attic before I expand to more cameras. I may drop the unit into the garage or a closet if the heat proves to be too much for it. So far, I am satisfied with my purchase.

> 24 hourFirst let me say that I review on the product performance, quality and functionality. If I were to rate products on how the items was shipped or for whatever reason outside of we as consumers except/hope to read are honest reviews on the product. If you have a problem with the seller, then save your remarks for the Sellers review, not the product. With that being said, I think you know where I am coming from. the switch looks great and a very quality product. I purchased it mainly for my Amcrest POE cameras and immediately saw a speed increase when viewing them from my app over my lan. So far it has been maybe a month since Ive installed it? Best feature is that it has 8 POE ports and not just four POE ports and the other four Non-POE. SO I tested it with other POE devices I have and saw no degradation in performance. Very, Very satisfied so far with performance!, even to say I would recommend this product. (See my seller review)

> 24 hourI purchased and installed the switch in the summer of 2020 to run a four megapixel camera system that I have running through my attic. I live in West Texas where the temperatures in the summer regularly reach over 100°F, which means my attic gets up to roughly 125° or higher. In the time Ive had to switch installed Ive had no issues whatsoever. Ive seen some people leaving negative reviews about the specs of this switch, saying it is not a true gigabit switch. This is true but it is clearly stated in the specs of the device. I purchased this model primarily due to its heat tolerance, and I have to say its done very well so far. It is absolutely worth the price they are asking for how well it seems to be built.

> 24 hourI purchased this switch to run a home surveillance system, after an existing controller died. The goal was use standalone capable cameras, with a single port, multi-channel controller. This switch turned out to be an incredible value. I did not expect the construction quality to be so high. It has a heft that was surprising, indicating that a lot of copper is used for the power supply, and the power output is stable. I used all 8 ports to run POE cameras, and they work great. The ports might only be 100 MB, but my cameras had not problem negotiating the connection, and everything works great. It is truly surprising to have such a high quality build, with a fiber link port at this price point. I am extremely happy with the switch, and am already recommending it to my colleagues for home LAN use.
