> 3 dayPersonal Experience: I was recently setting up an NVR with multiple IP cameras that use POE and I did not want to route 5 Ethernet lines to the NVR which was almost 3 stories away (60 feet). This powered switch let me simply route 1 Ethernet line from the basement to the ceiling of the garage I was in; then route 5 much shorter Ethernet lines from the switch to the cameras. The din rail mounting is something that I really appreciate because I can easily remove the switch if I need, without having to remove screws, but the rail is sturdy enough that the switch is secured once installed. Everything worked perfectly the first time and honestly the switch really is as easy as plug and play I did not have to do anything special to get it to work properly. In the future if/when I have situations where an NVR is to far away from a camera or it makes sense to have multiple shorter runs to provide POE I will go with this switch. Recommend: Yes Pros: Easy to install on DIN rail Worked the first time Has dedicated port for data and 8 for POE+data (9 total Ethernet ports) Compact design compared to other switches Cons: Didnt have any the way that I used it Install suggestion: I use DIN rails for data acquisition on other things but I found that the POE switch with its DIN rail comparability was really easy to use and came in a compact design. If you dont know much about DIN rails I would suggest do some research and try putting the switch on the rail and taking it off before you mount everything in its final location. DIN rails are pretty nice and versatile once you start using them.

> 3 dayInstalled this switch in an non-climate controlled morton building toward the end of summer. Didnt really get too hot in there, but pretty warm and this seemed to hold up. Will know more depending on how this thing survives the cold winter. Basically needed a POE switch that could handle temperature extremes.

Greater than one weekI purchased this switch back in February of 2020. I wasnt ready to install this till this week. The power light shows power. The port shows a link and activity, but nothing on other ports. After a lot of troubleshooting it is a issue with the ports. I checked the warranty and it expired in August. SO beware, dont plan ahead without testing when it arrives. For the warranty it sucks, 6 months. This is the reason for the 1 star. I couldnt find the seller to contact. We will see if they reach out to me. Just a quick update, I did find where to contact them. I will keep you posted.
