> 24 hourWhen I first had them I didnt like how they fit, couldnt make a proper fist. Now its my third day and they fit good. I usually do 10 to 12 rounds on the heavy bag. I love these gloves plenty of padding to protect the hands and its dense so you can hear the pop on the shots good. Feels like they could take a good beating. I always had a problem with destroying the padding on other brands, these are good gloves that will last.

> 24 hourI have only used them for a couple of lengthy heavy bag-sessions, but the gloves are nice looking, comfortable and seem to be a pretty great value!

> 24 hourI ordered these for my son who had long outgrew his last pair. Hes had a punching bag and speedball since he was 12 years old and actually had to grow into the first pair. My boy is very low key and usually accepts gifts with a rather aloof, Cool; thanks. When he realized what was in the package as he was opening it he lit up like a Christmas tree! He was still excited and eager to put them on and had me catching punches with the sparring mitts right away. My son is 17 now, over 62, and weighs in around 240. He doesnt have hands, he has paws and the 16oz gloves fit him great. The gloves are well stitched and well padded and have a good finger fold. Im very happy with this selection and highly recommend.

> 24 hourIn general, the gloves are absolutely amazing. I purchased the 16oz gloves. The curved section of the glove is great when it comes to wearing and removing them. Great for Muay Thai. Good support, ventilation, and secure wrapping around the wrists and hands. Minimal vibrations or uncomfortable pressure from impacts.

> 24 hourThese gloves fit just fine and can keep your hands warm, too. I can use them for my punching bag. The colors look nice.

> 24 hourFirst things first. I add the real cons to the gloves in this review because...thats what I do. So stay tuned, itll be a balanced show. Lets start. You arent paying a hundred bucks. Youre paying half that. And youre getting a glove that hits with gloves over double this price point. But lets talk about what you get for two quarters. The leather is soft, smooth and supple. That means if you put your hand in and squeeze its not noisy or cheap feeling. The leather has a nice feel to it. Not a cheap painted or fake feel when you first pick them up. The stitching is double stitched. Near flawless. Velcro strap is long. Easy to wrap tight around your wrist. My cons? They smell like ink when you open them. Not good wrist padding. Feels stiff. Cardboard like. It isnt likable to be honest. Handbox is loose, which isnt a deal breaker and is common at this price but I prefer tighter. The glove response leaves something to be desired with a loose handbox. However. No glove at this price has these points well addressed so I dont feel thats totally fair to ding only these gloves on. Ill also ding them on no color selection. You picked weight only. Looks matter too. Also this is the softest glove youll find at this price. Soft enough that sparring is easy and affordable without being the kid with the cheap brick gloves. These would be my first, second and third for a kid on a budget doing contact at the gym. A con for soft gloves like these is for a 200lb+ man you MIGHT hit hard enough to feel slight discomfort on very heavy or hard bags. But then again, a glove good for sparring is usually less good on a heavy bag and vice versa so you cant win them all. Its basic glove padding 101. Id say most children in the teenage or so ranted will have no issue using these for both. Overall, beats the competition out to triple the price and punches with them even so. I have my preferences but if I started from scratch these would be my first choice.

> 24 hourRecently started wearing Byakko gloves for my own boxing training. By far the best pair i’ve owned and I will be recommending my personal training clients to get their own for our sessions together.
