These are very helpful in keeping kids out of cabinets. My son has pulled on them so much and they have not broke or let him in. It really makes him made but I absolutely love these. I have orders these more than once as I did not know if I would like them or need something else the first time I bought them. I would suggest these for all parents

We bought multiple packs, and 3 of the 9 we have used are already cracking (see photos) after only a couple of months of use. Theyre all cracking in the same spot - a spot that kids cant break unless theyve figured out the whole contraption. And our kids havent figured it out, so only adults have used this part. Basically, thats a major weakness in the product and it wont last as long as it should. We are still using it, but I dont anticipate it lasting past when my oldest kid figures out how this works.

I bought these for raccoons that keep coming on our deck via the small doggy door. When we leave for a overnight trip we use these on the food cabinet doors inside our house in case the raccoons find the 2nd small doggy door into the house. We dont normally take our fur kiddos for overnight trips so locking the doggy doors will not work. Before you pass judgement we use camera monitoring for our fur kiddos when we are gone. These cabinet Locks Havent had to be tested yet, Thank goodness.

We bought these primarily to protect our two very young grandchildren from dangerous or breakable material stored in cabinets they can reach. They have survived the 15 month olds attempts so far. We will have to watch her with them closely as she gets older. She is very strong, smart, and very determined. Were hoping these will work since the strength required is in the fingers, and the lock takes coordination to release and open. Hopefully theyll work until she can be taught to understand and obey safety rules.

These locking horseshoe cabinet locks are fantastic where they will work. The concept is simple: slip the bar on two cabinet door locks through the horseshoe, attach and tighten the middle lock, and voila! Neither cabinet door can open unless the lock is removed, since the handles swing outward and the lock limits the handle bars ability to move inside the horseshoe. The concept is simple and effectively implemented here. However, there are some drawbacks and considerations: 1) You need two cabinet doors that swing outward from each other to utilize these. These will not work on drawers or single cabinet doors. If you need to lock drawers, single cabinet doors, or other doors where a horseshoe lock cannot work, consider Munchkins Xtraguard locks for a no-hardware solution. 2) The plastic has two weak points. If you pull hard on the lock, you can strip the hooks that lock into the teeth inside the locking mechanism. Also, if your cabinet handles are far apart, the lock is susceptible to prying the horseshoe legs apart until they break. This lock is most effective on cabinet doors up to 3 together, but it will work up to ~4.75. Apart from these issues (which are minor), the locks do what they do well. These are a good, inexpensive child- and dogproofing solution where they can be used.

Great product. It will fit on small to large size (width) knobs or handles. The only thing I didnt like is you have to squeeze to release & if you have long finger nails or arthritis it might be hard to do.

This is easy to put on and take off. I ordered a version that was too short for some of my cabinets. No problem; I emailed Skyla and they promptly sent me the larger ones which work great. Not only would I buy from them again, I would buy this object again. I was really impressed with their customer service and their friendliness. It was impressive.
