> 3 dayNot quite all steel, there are hard plastic inserts for each keystone. Excellent quality, solid feel. The rear bar is removable before installation, but solid once mounted. My generic rj45 CAT6 couplers fit well, no problems at all. I very much prefer using couplers to punch-down jacks, since it makes troubleshooting and repair a lot easier later. Couplers are also less likely to be too wide for a tight patch panel. Overall, a happy customer.

09-06-2025I love having 24 ports, but the only way I see getting RJ-45 keystones side-by-side is if you have some really good side cutters. The wire ends stick out too much. Thankfully I only needed a couple of keystones and are using other ports for cable management.

Greater than one weekNot much to say other than it does as intended. The two-part construction (allowing removal of cable-tie frame) allows it to be used in short-depth applications. Yes, you can buy one (maybe a bit cheaper) without the cable-tie frame, but the flexibility of having both in one reasonably priced unit is nice. Which is why I went with this.

> 3 dayI like the idea of fillable patch panels or blank patch panels This was very reasonable. This photo was taken in process so the zip ties were not yet cut. In the photo I used Cable Matters brand jack inserts, but keep in mind that you most likely can use most keystone type jacks in this panel, but it is quite the opposite when using a ICC, Tripplite or common brand blank panel and installing Cable Matters jacks. The Cable matters jacks are a little fatter so after you snap in two or three in a commercial brand blank panel- the additional ones will not fit. This blank patch panel comes with the little ties. It makes a nice clean professional look that reminded me of my union days of painstakingly straightening each wire. If you need to add more jacks to the panel in the future, these blank panels are the way to go.

Greater than one weekGreat keystone panel. the cable matters RJ45 keystone fits all 24 perfectly. Pros: * 24 port keystone panel in 1U * well labeled * cable management arm with zip tie slots is very useful for keeping your cables in proper order Cons: * If you put the keystones in at the wrong angle they can get stuck, and are a pain to get out. Always put in the bottom first, then angle in the top with the clip. * Getting a keystone out even when inserted correctly is still a pain

> 3 dayThis is so much easier and modular. It is a little over priced for just being a piece of metal but the cable management lip and keystone design makes working in the rack a lot easier.

> 3 dayFor those who keep asking YES its 2 pieces. take the time and actually examine it before saying no as evident by the pictures I have posted. For those wondering if mono price keystones work without clearance issues yes they do tested and confirmed. When in doubt order the slim profile keystones to eliminate that issue. its a patch panel not much to say beside im glad the wiring has the strain relief and comes straight in to each port rather then having to stagger them from the sides much easier to maintain.

> 3 dayI cant speak to the strain-relief bar as I didnt use it, but I used the VCE keystone couplers and VCE blanks on this patch panel and they all worked perfectly together.
