Cabosil - Fumed Silica Thickener in Quart Tub

I used this to make ceramic blanket rigidizer. Be careful how much water you add, start with the powder and add just enough water so that it will spray. It worked pretty well as a rigidizer.

Great bang for your buck here. I specifically used this to rigidize some kaowool and it worked great. Way cheaper than shipping a liquid ridgidizer. Works great to thicken epoxy too.

It really thickens the resin well. I let mine sit for a few minutes before adding the hardner. Seems to completely dissolve then.

Good peanut butter for my boat refurb. No problems. Also worked perfectly on the gelcoat as well. Could be at a better price...

A good thickening agent for epoxy.

Worked great as a rigidizer for ceramic blanket in a forge. Mixed 1:2 with water and a few drops of food coloring. Brushed on. For my blanket feeling like stale pound cake and ready for use.

Using this for a dry fly floatant for fly fishing - works great and will last forever.

It did exactly what I bought it for.

Smaller than expected but good

I am a fly fisher and I can use this product for dry fly fishing. The powder is very expensive at fly shops.
