> 3 dayI have the caldigit element hub and this product made by the same company isnt compatible. It will read the hard drive if I connect it directly to the computer but wont recognize it plugged into the hub. My other drives have no problem being read once its connected to the hub. Horrible that their own products arent compatible with each other.

> 3 dayThis is used in conjunction with both an iPad Pro and a MacBook Pro. Large 200+ bitrate video files are a breeze to transfer and it is easily possible to edit leaving the files on the Nano. The main advantage is tiny size for ultimate portability.

> 3 dayIt was a little tricky to format for use with a Windows 10 computer. However, an email to CalDigit Customer Service resulted in a successful formatting. It now works well.

> 3 dayIf you have a Mac you are good to go, since it is formatted for Mac from the vendor. If you have a PC, its not that easy. A PC wont even recognize it as a drive until you delete the Mac information. You have to find it as an administrator and figure out what to delete, since what comes up on the screen doesnt match what it says in the directions. Once the Mac info is deleted, you can then format to your PC. If I figured it out, Im sure most folks will. It just seems like a lot of fuss, when it could have come blank - ready to format for either application.

The Tuff nano Plus is a high-performance SSD that requires ample power to function. We recommend connecting it directly to a port on your computer or through a powered docking station. Bus-powered hubs are not recommended. It may work with mobile devices if connected through a self-powered dock, which can provide additional power. Please check with your manufacturer if external docks and storage are supported. Speed may be limited to 430MB/s when plugged into a USB-A 5Gb/s port.
