> 3 daySo...draining Black and Grey tanks are a chore. Not only do you have to watch everything so you dont get sprayed but you have to wash the lines and tanks when done. Usually that means a hose down the toilet filling and draining. Not anymore. This not only provides a clear view of whats going down but with the hose pipe connection you can do a wash down without dragging the hose into the camper. I drain my tanks. Shut off the drain, shut off the grey, but leave the black open. Turn on the water and go inside the camper. Monitor black tank level and when 3/4 full Ill go back outside. Shut off the hose pipe and drain the black tank. Do this 3 or so times and its nothing but clear water. Ive not actually climbed inside the black tanks to see how well this is working on sticky bits but it appears to be doing exactly what it advertises.

> 3 daySooo, I am a new camper owner with some lessons learned causing me to acquire this device, though you should have regardless. This design allows for swiveling at different points on the neck which comes in handy bc there are times you have to make adjustments depending on which way your hose is going to point. I made the mistake of emptying the black tank completely then using again without filling w/some water to line bottom nor did I use enough water while flushing, therefore some blockage created not draining properly. Upon installing and back flushing several times it freed things up not to mention it assist in cleaning the grey tanks which does not have a back flush feature like my black tank does. Note: I made the mistake by forgetting to open the valve on the tank while having the valve closed on the blaster causing pressure build up and blaster to separate exploding sh#@ all over me! I was able to force the connector back on to the elbow. Currently Im living in the camper full time at my house bc Im remodeling, so I want to leave the hose extended to my septic, the blaster allows me to close its valve instead of always having to disconnect the hose each time. I just empty my tanks, shut rv valves, then blaster valve to keep smells and animals out. This is a very sturdy helpful product, love it.

> 3 dayThe idea behind this product is great, but this particular one isnt the highest quality. Ive used it a handful of times now, and noticed that the seal isnt water tight in some spots. The orange connector that locks onto the RV exit valve seems to have a small leak, and much worse, the ball valve for the water/flush hose doesnt have any sort of seal on it. I always have the water connector facing up and my black and grey water never flowing through it enough to have anything come out, but when I connect up my hose and and back flush into the tanks, I can turn that ball valve off, and water will still continue flowing into the tanks through it. I had an extra ball valve so I connect that to my hose before connecting the hose to this product, but without that, black water could potentially flow back into my hose and even up into the water supply at the dump station. Maybe I just got a bad one that didnt get the seals checked properly, and now Im past the time to be able to return it, so I guess Im out of luck. Bottom line: Pros: Love the idea, convenient to be able to back flush to rinse and clear the black water tank, easy to use. Cons: Cheap material, all plastic, seals dont seem to seal the water in, and you may need to purchase an extra ball valve.

03-06-2025Worked great, had to fill up tank about 4-5 times though to clean completely so it took longer than expected but I am happy with it.

Greater than one weekI’ve been looking for something to be able to flush out both black and gray tanks of my motor home. This tool connects between the tank discharge valve and sewer hose and has a water hose connection so water can fill up either tank after emptying back up the discharge connection. The tank can drained by opening the gate valve below the hose connection. This process can be done several times to flush out the tanks. It works great and simple to hook up.
