> 3 daySo...draining Black and Grey tanks are a chore. Not only do you have to watch everything so you dont get sprayed but you have to wash the lines and tanks when done. Usually that means a hose down the toilet filling and draining. Not anymore. This not only provides a clear view of whats going down but with the hose pipe connection you can do a wash down without dragging the hose into the camper. I drain my tanks. Shut off the drain, shut off the grey, but leave the black open. Turn on the water and go inside the camper. Monitor black tank level and when 3/4 full Ill go back outside. Shut off the hose pipe and drain the black tank. Do this 3 or so times and its nothing but clear water. Ive not actually climbed inside the black tanks to see how well this is working on sticky bits but it appears to be doing exactly what it advertises.

> 3 dayThe product is a bit tight to twist on, maybe just when its new. So far the extra money for the additional gate valve was not worth it. All the hoses at the dump site are mostly damaged with no threaded attachment or a fixed spray head so it is hard to use the tank back flush feature. I will try again but bring my own brass threaded hose attachment with a hose clamp and screwdriver. Tried the water bandits and they fly off under any pressure.

> 3 dayDont know why we never ran across this item when we first started with an RV. This helps a lot with cleaning out the tanks. Works like it should. Make sure the tank door is open or it will spray everywhere.

> 3 dayAfter dumping black tank sensor consistently showed 1/3 full and after repeated blasting and draining, water ran clear and sensor showed zero. I expect next time I dump that I will only need to blast once or twice now that the tank has been throughly flushed out and sensor is cleaned. I highly recommend it!

Greater than one weekMy husband loves this thing! No more dragging the hose into the campers kitchen sink to fill/flush the tanks, which makes me love this thing too. We purchased a used camper that’s tanks sat full for 2 years... GROSS. So we had a lot of flushing todo.

> 3 dayIm so glad I got this while my RV was still new, otherwise I would have just assumed that the black tank indicators werent fully reliable. Using this I now realize how much matter is left after draining the tank - mostly toilet paper even though we use the RV stuff that is supposed to dissolve. I empty the tank, then close the gate and spray, partially filling the black tank with water. I repeat until the indicator light shows the tank is empty - which can be 3 times, but it doesnt take long at all and is really easy to use. I got a black hose so that there is no mistaking it for the potable water hose. One of the best RV accessory purchases Ive made, absolutely essential.

> 3 dayHighly recommend! My RV tank was clogged and wouldnt empty. I tried the chemical stuff to dissolve the clog but no luck. Ordered this product to filled the pipes from below, water pushed the clog back into the tank, then drained. Problem solved! The built-in gate valve is absolutely necessary for doing this. Also works great for intended purpose of just cleaning sludge out of tank and pipes. Dont expect it blast high pressure water into your tank, high pressure only works until the first bend in your pipes, but filling from the bottom still works better and faster than from the top. Lastly, the clear tube is great for determining when your tank is empty, flushing clear water, or still has solids in it.

> 3 dayI only wish I had this black water valve earlier… this saves times and clean up is very easy, just carefully read the instructions that came with your kit…I can clean and flush my blank water tank in about 10 minutes, therefore not holding up other campers waiting to empty their holhing tanks…
