> 3 dayThis is a great printer at any price. The print quality is good and you can even print photos if you want. The ink cartridges are inexpensive, especially if you go with remanufactured, and overall, the printer is a great value. The only bad part is that the printer does not have an output tray, but dont let that stop you from buying this printer because it is truly a great value.

Greater than one weekI replaced my Epson RX500 ($245.00) due to $$$ ink replacement and other issues, and I love this little printer! After almost five months of steady printing Im replacing the black ink tank for the first time (about $7). Its a little rough on the paper feed but cranks documents out quickly. Photo quality is average for the price of this unit. However, compared to the enormous costs of the Epson ink tanks, this Canon has already paid for itself. Ive printed out resumes, pictures, spreadsheets, and loads of emails on this machine. Well worth the price!

> 3 dayI am a graduate student. Even though, universities gave me printing facilities, its always nice to have a backup printer at your own home. So, to me this printer acts as a backup printer, just in case I forgot to make print out for tomorrows deadline. This printer does the job nicely. The black and color quality is just right. It is also very cheap. Not to mention the ink cost is the cheapest among the rest. However, if you are thinking of making print out everyday in abundance, this is not the printer for you. I didnt compare the ink volume that comes with it. But I think it has lower volume than the others. Recently, I made print out every single day around 5 to 10 pages. Within 1 month, the ink detector already gave me a low signal. All in all, this is a cheap but has a good print quality. But dont use it every day.

Greater than one weekIt seems Ive had this for years. I buy the generic brand of ink from 123inkjets dot com and have had great success. Just for printing, as Ive never tried professional photos.

> 3 dayThe only problem is that it prints very slowly. I had this version before, and it printed much faster. When it prints the color is great. Maybe it needs to warm up a bit. Nice inexpensive printer with great instructions.

> 3 dayThe printer never worked correctly, it jams after printing one or two pages - If I havent waited too long, I would be happy to return it for $40.00 (less than half of what I paid for it)

> 3 dayI used to have a S300.It worked great and its really cost effective. That why I bought this one last week. However, this new one gets paper jamed easily, and sometimes it just fails to feed the paper in but still sends paper jamed message.( I used the the HP 21 pounds papers bought with the printer). I am considering to return it, does anyone has the same experience? How to fix it?

18-11-2024Dont believe any bad reviews that youve seen for this printer. People who are critiquing this printer probably had a defective unit. Ive used several of these units for YEARS and they are great for both text and photos. I am very familiar with this unit, and if you dont need a paper tray, it is a great printer!

Greater than one weekYou cant go wrong with these little printers if you need a little a printer that will produce economically. Would be a great printer for a kids computer.

> 3 dayI still have this printer 6 years later. I refill my ink tank and only use black. After 5 years, I had to disassemble and clean the ink absorber pads inside the printer and reset the internal counter with a program to allow it to print so long. For most, it wasnt worth doing this for a cheap printer but I like a challenge (had to take it pretty far apart) and like this small simple printer.
