Canplas 193057S PVC DWV Cleanout Plug with Line, 6-Inch

Disclaimer: I dont know what Im doing. The plug on what I guess to be the sewer cleanout in my front yard broke and just want it to be covered. The PVC pipe is 6 across, so I got this plug. The plug is 6.5 wide, so it wont fit inside the pipe. And its only 5.75 on the inside, so it wont fit outside the pipe.

This clean out plug seems to be solid so I am hoping that it lasts well, even with the family mowing around it. Wish the stickers were not on the top but thats a minor eyesore until I remove them.

Mowed over mine and needed a replacement. Big box stores said I would never find a 6 cap and I should buy a reducer. Hopped online and Amazon delivered. Fast delivery, just as described, fit like a glove.

It is made of good quality. It is a 6 inch PVC threaded cap I have it on top of a piece of 6 inch PVC schedule 40. Big surprise there ha if I ever get the urge to play with my own shit I feel so this cap will enable me to do that relatively easy.

I was afraid it might not fit. The 6 size listing made me worry since the broken one measured about 6 1/2. But it turned out the perfect size, I assume these are all standard plumbing sizes. Price could have been a bit less, but I am satisfied.

Rated for the 6 but the actual fitting is a 6 1/2 opening. this was confusing for me but worked like a charm.
