Got it to use with neon pencils. Lots of fun for granddaughter!

Starting from white paper everytime gets pretty boring, and personally, white on black, with some saturated reds and stuff, looks really cool. Great for neon and inverse effects. I use signo gels and colored pencil to draw on it. Paint markers probably would also work. Alcohol markers like copics, and other markers in general like Faber-Castells will NOT though, so make sure you are equipped to use it. A cool tip I read (and use) for sketching and construction lines is to use a soapstone marking pencil. Theyre meant for quilts, but work with black paper well, and can be easily removed.

I wasnt too sure what I would get, but the sketch tablet is just what I wanted.

Good quality. It was great for my Faber Castel watercolor pencils, but just a heads up it was not great for the watercolor portion. The color sort of just washed into the paper. However, the Finetec metallic watercolor I used looked great on the paper. I think its great for more dry mediums, but I think Ill be getting a different black paper pad made specifically for watercolor and more wet mediums.

This was hit for my 7 year old daughter and my 6 year old niece. I gave this as a gift for each of them along with a set of gel pens and they both like how the black paper stood out with the pens. It gave them a creative boost compared to standard drawing on white paper with crayons. I am very happy with the size and quality of the paper. The pages are perforated and can be removed easily and neatly.

Excellent quality paper! I have always trusted Canson when it comes to paper:) lately I’ve been doing some scrapbooking and the paper is divine! I tried looking at other “scrapbooking” brands, but I thought to myself wait this is black paper and I know the quality of the paper is better than any brand. So my go to for scrapbooking!:)
