This paper is nice and thick. It works well with high quality soft core colored pencils and with vibrant oil pastels.

Is perfect for pencil or colored pencil and I have gotten away with a light acrylic paint. Canson sketchbooks are great quality at a decent price, so naturally I wanted this brand for a black paper sketchbook.
