Canvas Israeli Paratrooper Crossbody Shoulder Bag

Bag is exactly as described. Very strong, tons of compartments, very roomy. Im planning on taking this bag on a road trip and Im confident that it will hold everything that I need.

The picture has red wings, I liked the wings; thats why I picked this bag from several other options of bags; the bag that came is plain, no wings. Its a black canvas material, kind of faded. I bought it as a gift for a friend, he likes bags that look old and his birthday was yesterday, the day the bag arrived, so Im not going to bother returning it but its not the bag pictured; Im disappointed.

I spent several hours on amazon looking for the right camp bag as I call it. Essentially the light-weight bag that Ill carry around the base camp area, or out a small distance for foraging or fishing. The rothco paratrooper bag is what I settled on, and Im glad I did. The material is quality and rugged, as it the bags construction and fasteners. I think this bag is superior because of the clip that keeps it closed (not crappy Velcro), its ample size, internal dividers, and especially the ammo holders on the top. I especially liked that the ammo holders were protected by not one, but two flaps. I absolutely recommend this bag for anyone who wants a cool and rugged book or laptop bag, as well as for bug-out capabilities, or as a camp bag, like mine. I also recommend weather treating it, as it will get wet and when it does, it will stay that way. I used campdry.

I bought this bag as a replacement for my original that I purchased nearly 7 years ago and has finally worn out. The original bag held up to very rough service through my time as a student and summer camp councilor. I love this design, my only complaint is that the divider on the main bag is not sewn to the bottom so small items can migrate from compartment to compartment. I hope this bag holds up as well as my last one.

I bought this bag to carry my new Apple 11 Macbook Air notebook w/components. (The computer is protected by another sleeve.) So far its working just fine for that purpose; however, Im thinking about placing some small velcro tabs on the little pockets on the bottom of the bag, to prevent things from coming out. It would also be nice if the outer flap had a different hook to close it.

Doesnt hold objects of measurable weight.

I loke the bag, but I think the I will enjoy this bag. I am going to order the (UTG Multi-functional Tactical Messenger Bag - Dark Earth) becaus it has lots more pockets and is also strong and light.

When I bought this satchel, there were no reviews available. Besides that, it was pretty inexpensive so I knew I was taking a risk by buying this.

TLove the fact that even packed with my laptop and notebooks it is very lightweight

Im very happy with this bag. It is quite large and roomy inside but a convenient size to carry. The compartments are very usable. I can carry emergency gear with me and have plenty of room for collecting along the way. I sprayed the outside with water repellent because I expect to use this in all types of weather and conditions.
