Canvas Messenger Bag - Small Vintage Shoulder Purse Crossbody Satchel

I picked up this bag for a trip to Europe. It was pretty inexpensive so I wasnt really sure if it would hold up or how masculine it would be. It turned out to be a solid and rugged messenger bag. I will mention a few things that really stand out for me. First, the bag is well made. The canvas is high quality and does not feel cheap. Second, there is an internal pouch with a zipper, the top zips closed, and finally the lip of the bag snaps shut. This added security really made me feel comfortable traveling in areas where I knew pick pockets were lurking. Aside from yanking my bag away, it would have been nearly impossible for anyone to sneak something out of my bag. Third, I packed this bag full of day trip items. Even though it is not that large, I was able to stuff a lot in there (including a fairly big jacket). Additionally, I ended up getting stuck in a heavy downpour in London. I was afraid the color might run or the bag might turn in to pulp. Not at all. While it is not waterproof, everything dried out and the color held.

Just never been a fan of traditional purses. This bag is soft and casual and go’s with everything. A lipstick did come open in the pocket so maybe it’s not great for lipsticks on there own. Prob will put things like that in a little make up bag first. I love it!

I love it. The bag came quickly and is the perfect size for me. The material is heavy duty (not heavy) and will last. The stitching is good and the strap is the right size. If you are not looking for a large bag, this is the one you want!

Ive been looking for a bag like this forever! Its a nice weight with good stiching. Because Im an artist and a writer I go out into the wilderness often to find ideas. This bag is the perfect size to take my paint supplies and sketch books and journals. I dont have to worry about this bag ripping or getting worn out fast at all. This bag can take a beating. Would buy again and more from this company! I also love the earthy colors :)

This bag is exactly what Ive been searching for. The size is perfect, not too big and not too small. The canvas is nice and soft, not stiff like so many. It could be used daily as a purse or manbag. Its not large enough for a laptop which I dont haul around anyway. It holds my Klean Kanteen standing up which was very important to me. The hardware is very good quality. The snap closings are well designed as you can put your finger behind the strap holding the bag side of the snap to close it easier (you dont have to press against the bag, they have sort of a loop that the snap is fixed to). I love this bag and recommend it highly!!

As advertised. Worth the extra few bucks over similar products. I was worried about the magnetic snaps; inasmuch as I had bad luck with those on a soft-sided briefcase of mine. But either the tech has improved over the years or the makers put more effort into this. Bought this with the 21101KA backpack--which is also a great product.

It would have gotten 5 stars except for 1 small thing; which is easily improved upon. The straps in the front of the bag “snap on” to close. This is not very secure and can easily be pickpocketed. The main compartment is zippered which is a big plus, but still.... I’ve sewn the “snap on” pockets to the main body, so the only way you can open the bag is by unbuckling the front buckles; which makes it difficult to get into- and more secure for your valuables. The straps can be changed into whatever straps you like, in my case thicker and more secure anti-cut straps (I have a thing about security!). The side pockets are non secure which are fine for things that aren’t valuable and need easy fast access. Overall it’s a great little travel companion. Best thing probably is you can put it into the washing machine when it gets grubby from all your adventures :)

I needed a new bag to carry my small stuff while riding motorcycle. This bag is perfect and durable. No complaints so far!
