> 24 hourThis is the greatest device to safely get in and out of a car or SUV! I recently broke my ankle very badly and could not put any weight on it. With few stable things to hold onto, getting into and out of a car was harrowing at best. This device acts like a handle to balance your hand on or to push on. It fits into that metal loop on the post of the open door and fits securely there. Fits both my car and SUV. For the price, it is very well made and strong.

> 24 hourGot this to help my 92 year old mother out of the car. It is GREAT!!! Provides the sturdy support exactly where she needs it. Wish I knew about this sooner! And the fact that it can also cut a seat belt or break a car window in case you come upon an accident is a good bonus. We keep this right in the glove compartment to have it close at hand.

Helping a nurse
> 24 hourI like that it has several functions. We keep ours in the front passenger door for when it is needed to help someone push up to get out of the seat. You just put the metal part in the cars metal loop (on the car frame where the door handle opens). After you use it to get out, put it back in the door pocket (or my Mom puts it in her purse for a second use when she returns to the car.) I gave some as gifts.
