Car Cane

This is the second assist device I have. My wife found a special offer for what I believe was the first product of this type to enter the market. and bought it for me a couple of years ago. The one I bought through Amazon is almost identical except for the glass breaking point. The newer one looks as if the point is just the support shaft machined to a point. My original has a machined, hardened steel pointed insert with amore concentrated point of impact. I have not tried to break a vehicle glass with either one. If I ever have the need to do so, I hope I am in the vehicle that has the one with the hardened steel shaft. It appears as if the original may be much easier to get the job done; especially for most of us who need to need the door entry handle are well along in years and not as strong as the people who designed the one I bought. In my experience, most of the physical assists for seniors are designed by people who do not need them and are not fully approved by the people who use them the most. The plastic strip installed to keep the handle light batteries alive are still in place. I cannot comment pro or con on the lights effectiveness, but I like the idea.

helps my limited mobility mom get into my new pickup truck w/o too much fuss. without it she had a hard time entering & exiting the vehicle even with the running boards. Now she feels much safer. The flashlight is nice added perk. Highly recommended for those with mobility issues.

I feel so much better about my grandma driving now that she has one of these in the car! Its hard for her to get in and out of her low sitting car. This is such a great idea. Im glad someone thought of such a smart tool. Im going to get one for everyone in the family just for the other features.

This little gadget is so handy! My dad is 87 and has a difficult time getting in and out of the passenger side of the car and it usually takes him several times. I got him two of these for Christmas (one for each car he rides in) and it is fantastic. It easily slips into the car door hook and is incredibly sturdy.

I purchased this for my husband who has been having medical issues which makes getting out of the car difficult. The car cane is great. Im so glad I bought it for him. It has made traveling so much easier for him.

This was the perfect tool to help my father in law to get in or out of the car, if by any chance we forgot to put it there, when needed, he was prompt to tell us that we forgot. Recently we bought more to give as gifts because it is a very helpful tool

Really a great product, and its great with the flashlight because you can carry it with you at night for light on your way to and from your car.

This made getting in and out of the car much easier. It was recommended by the rehab Physical Therapist.
