It makes going in and out of car simple because no bulky coat. It is extremely warm and soft and our son loves it. We also get non stop compliments everywhere we go on how adorable it is!

This is a great idea for the car seat or the stroller. You can still buckle them in either. My granddaughter is 14 months . She loves it! So soft and warm. She also has room to grow in it. She lives in New York and this help keep her warm
