Greater than one weekAfter I thoroughly read the directions and then watched a video on YouTube, I did love this! It was extremely handy with having full hands and not to have to carry out heavy car seat!

> 3 dayI have a Graco 4ever convertible car seat. If youre not familiar, its a BIG and HEAVY car seat with 2 cup holders! I used this for walking around the airport since we were using the car seat on the plane. It was great! Very simple to put together, but definitely practice several times before you leave for the airport. You have to separate the luggage and car seat when you go through security, and then quickly out your stuff together to get out of the way. Overall, very useful and I dont know HOW we would have managed to walk through the airport with a toddler and all our stuff had it not been for this strap. Its worth the money. Due to the size of our car seat, once we got on the plane, we couldnt just walk down the aisle to our seats. We had to quickly separate the luggage from the car seat and then carry the car seat down the aisle. This is why isnt important to practice put the strap on and taking it off quickly. The other passengers were nice enough to help us out but dont expect that people will carry your stuff for you. The strap will help you lug your car seat around, but it may be difficult once you get on the plane.

> 3 dayThis is a must have for taking car seats onto planes. Without this device, I wouldn’t have had enough body parts to carry a baby on my back and to roll around a carryon with a car seat and a diaper bag attached while showing the gate attendant two boarding passes. You could technically put the baby in the car seat while you lug it around, but you have to unattached it when you go through TSA and the plane rows are a bit narrow to maneuver with a baby in it. You could make a contraption with a couple of O rings, but it was just easier for me to buy it since it wasn’t too expensive. The only complaint? I had was that it was orange and not yellow as in the picture. No big deal. Got the job done.

> 3 dayHonestly it works way better on a stroller than connected to the suitcase. It would make my suitcase wheels buckle under maybe it was just my suitcase couldn’t support the weight. Overall worked perfectly to have our car seat connected to the stroller.

> 3 dayThis strap made carrying our travel-friendly convertible car seat (Evenflo Maestro) so much easier. I was worried it wouldn’t work with a smaller carry-on suitcase but it worked great and it freed my hands as saved my back. I checked the seat at the counter since my son is too old to use it in a plane but it wouldn’t have been an issue to travel through the airport with it if needed. Since the suitcase is on the shorter side, I did have to make sure to pull the suitcase at an angle when moving so it didn’t scratch the bottom of the seat against the ground (vs rolling it while upright). I don’t believe this would be necessary with a bigger suitcase. Wish I’d bought this earlier in our travels. We previously used the bag we bought to protect the car seat and carried it as a back pack. But carrying a seat that way is heavy and also keeps you from being able to carry an actual backpack.

> 3 dayI tried using this with an Uppababy Mesa in and out of the travel bag and was totally stumped as to why a piece seemed to be missing… turned out the Mesa didn’t have a top tether like convertible car seats do (I expect this is the case with most infant car seats). Anyhow, a bungee cord saved day. Using this system was way better than the time we traveled without it lugging the travel bag around by the straps.

Greater than one weekRarely do I take the time to review a product, but let me tell ya, this thing was a life saver in the airport! The strap is sturdy, holds tight, and has a ring to clip the tether strap to, which makes all the difference, as it helps keep the car seat elevated off the ground. I do think it could hold a child, but we instead used a stroller for our toddler (to be safe) and used this as a complete luggage system for the airport. It allowed us to carry two carry on bags, the car seat and a duffel bag, with ease. This will make your airport gate venture much more efficient! I will never have a car seat in the airport without this.

> 3 dayI had to recently travel alone with my toddler and this belt was a life saver. Threading it through the back of the car seat was the hardest part but once you do that it’s so easy! You could save time and do that step at home if you wanted. Snap on and off through security. Once I checked the stroller at the gate, I put her in the car seat, strapped her in, and wheeled her right down the ramp to the plane. It allowed me to carry the diaper bag on my back and have hands free which was very nice.

> 3 dayDefinitely handy for its purpose. However, think carefully about your trip. For us, we will probably not use this again because our most common itinerary requires 3 flights. Most carseats are too wide to fit down the aisle of the plane. So thats a minimum of three times we have to disassemble and carry the carseat. Not to mention at security, etc. Which, with 3 kids poses an extra special challenge. Next time we will probably (reluctantly) check out carseats.
