Im planning to use this as a carry-on, even though it technically exceeds the dimensions of most airlines slightly. The length is good, and like another reviewer mentioned, I expect to squeeze it down to fit in overhead bins when necessary. In the pictures, these bags look very rigid, but it isnt. The bottom is flat, and the sides bow inward a bit when carried by the handle or strap. With a suit in the intended compartment, you might have to be careful not to pinch or wrinkle it when carried. There are a lot of pouches inside, but only one smallish outside pocket about the size of a phone. If you dont plan on sliding it over the handle of a rolling bag, you can use the handle sleeve on the other side as a pocket by leaving the bottom zipped, but this is also a very small pocket. Expect to carry a smaller personal bag or use a jacket pocket when flying. Mine didnt include a hanging hook, so I will probably borrow one from my toiletries bag. Otherwise, you would have to hang the bag up (unzipped) using the coathanger your dress clothes are on, which might be adequate.

I purchased this bag as my fiancees son got married across the country this past weekend. We went through a lot for my fiances new suit (between the cost and many alterations), so I wasnt going to risk it (or my dress) getting ruined or lost, so flying out there this bag was a carry-on. Going through the airports, I had it on top of my rather small roller bag via the rear handle strap and it was great until I actually boarded the flight. This particular plane had narrower aisles, so I had to take the bag off of the roller bag which made it a little awkward to go down the aisle with my roller bag behind me and holding this bag in front of me. As my fiancee only had a small shoulder laptop bag, on the connecting flight he carried this on the plane instead while I managed my roller bag. It fit fine in the overhead compartments, and these were Southwest 737 Max 8s. On our return flights I checked the bag as I wasnt as worried about the suit as I was on our initial flights (as he likely wont need it again and because if it got lost the airline would have to reimburse us). But as some people complained about the plastic zippers, out of caution I did get some wire-shanked TSA locks and secured the zippers together. As the metal on the zippers isnt large enough, I wound the wire through an opening in the well-stitched nylon zipper pulls (with the clips on the end) but I double-wrapped it to make sure the zippers were held tightly together (if it only went through once there would be a wide gap due to the length of the lock wire). On the side where the top zipper goes across I was able to pull the wire through the end of the metal zipper pull as well, and that one I also wound through twice. I was skeptical that the bag would be able to make it through being tossed around by TSA and other bags being stacked on top of it, so to give it some extra stability I cable tied the handles together to help hold the bag together in case the top zipper started to give. This bag was the first of ours to come off the carousel at baggage claim and I was surprised it was in amazing shape. I was very very impressed. I dont know if/when Ill need to use this bag again, but I feel confident that it will hold up. But, I will use a velcro tie for the handles next time as the cut end of the cable tie dug into my hand (I apologize to the TSA baggage handlers in PHX, MDW and ORF!).

Well made but wont hold cloths above a medium

I purchased this bag due to beginning to travel for work across the country. I was unsure about the bag at first, due to the fact that it actually forms into a shoulder bag and being unsure whether this would impact the size allotment for my clothing. Instead I found that there was much more room than I originally believed and that I could add multiple items into the bag I had not originally planned for, including shoes, underclothes, and my hygiene bag. Although i am a bigger guy, my hanging clothes were able to stay fairly wrinkle-free and I was able to hang multiple items. I would recommend not using a hanger in the bag itself, as the suit bag obviously rolls into a shoulder bag. Although the hanger was not overly impactful, I felt that it was likely to cause issues (or break if you use a plastic hanger) after a period of time.

I like this bag. It fits the tourpack on my Harley Davidson Road Glide.

The zipper to the area where the shoes are inserted broke on the first time using it.

Love the design of this carryon bag!. When traveling for work, I always want 2 days of business clothes incase of lost luggage. This will keep my suites wrinkle free and allows me to carry an extra pair of shoes. The appearance is smart, clean and modern.

This one is great. I tried other brand and returned as they had bad design and handles wouldn’t last. I got this one based on better design and it’s great so far.

Update: A few months later & it’s still phenomenal! I purchased this in preparation for some day trips for work and it sure did the job. My suit stayed crisp and I was able to fit everything I needed. The bag feels very durable, which I cant say for some of my other bags that cost five times the amount. Although many bags have a separate compartment for shoes, be careful not to overlook the importance of this feature when shopping for luggage. The last thing you want is to wake up & get dressed, only to find that something on the bottom of your shoes found its way onto your clothes. The side pockets make it easy to get essentials out of your bag, including when its in the overhead bin on a plane. A++

Very roomy and well planned layout for travel necessities. The bag is pretty good quality and lightweight. And can hold an unusual amount of items without being too bulky or cumbersome. Very good product
