Definitely good protection for the unit, even if youre contemplating it falling out of an airplane at 20,000ft or caught in a building damaged by an earthquake. Its stiff and rigid construction does more than it needs to, and packing it will take up a lot of space.

Is a nice case that holds my GPS and few cables. Things are stored together.

The case is idea for the 64st, but it lacks enough room for the (2) cords that come with the 64st. I cant get both the power cord and computer cords in the case with the Garmin. Yet, its not enough to make me complain. I carry other gear anyway and put the additional cord in another case.

My phone fit perfectly in this case. Very sturdy. I was able to add my cable and wall charger in it as well. The only small issues was the strap that came with it; the hook separated from the strap. Ill have to look for a sturdy strap that can attach to my backpack.
