> 3 dayIve used this fly mask for the last five summers. I find I usually need to replace them every other summer from normal wear and tear and I am now on my third set of them. Ive used them on horses from draft crosses to quarter horses and theyve fit everyone well so far. They are really great for horses with pink noses to help avoid sunburn and defend well against flies.

> 3 dayKeeps her forelock out of her face. Much less sweat trapped against her skin with this mask, her old one was always soaked with sweat on these hot summer days. I will be getting a backup of this one for wash day!

Greater than one weekThis is the first time Ive gotten the Cashel mask with ears. My guy scratches alot...thats why hes wearing the mask... and this got holes in the fabric right away. I bought a smaller size one for my other horse and it has not had any problems. So if you have a horse thats very hard on his masks you may be disappointed with the durability of the fabric on the ears.

> 3 dayIn TN the flies are fierce on the trail or in the paddock. Add to that the heat and humidity and this is the ONLY mask Ill use. Lifting the forelock out of the mask helps the horses comfort in the heat and the light weight makes it perfect. Ive got 2 that Ive had and still use for the past 3 yrs. every day in the summer and bought an extra set to alternate when the boys roll and get one dirty. They rinse out easily and are ready for the next day...LOVE THIS MASK!

Greater than one weekThese masks are a great transition as the weather becomes too hot for regular fly masks, but gnats and other small spring insects are still plentiful. As it gets hotter and drier, the small bugs will decrease and masks can come off. They are less durable, so would not do as well if you have a lot of brambles, etc. for them to catch on and tear. A desired improvement would be to offer them in a light grey color that would be even cooler.
