> 3 dayGave this 4 stars rather than 5 stars because it lacked an off switch. Also, for the size thought it should have 9 digit display capability instead of 8 digits. After 8 minutes of non-use it shuts down automatically. Im old-fashioned, I like an on/off switch. Everything else is great, large keyboard numbers, easy to read display. I bought this one because it had the tax rate function and two-way power. I, also bought the Casio SL-300SV solar powered standard function calculator at the same time. Use it more often than the MS-80S. The MS-80S is good for desktop use or to carry in a briefcase, but not in your pocket. I expect both calculators will last a long time and are a bargain at these prices.

> 3 dayFor the price you pay it’s a good quality product. Not cheap dollar store junk.

> 3 dayTwo of these have failed within two years with the same problem: the battery expands, and rips a battery holder connector off the circuit board. Im trying a Texas Instruments calculator that has a battery access door on the back of it.

> 3 dayThis is a good calculator with a normal layout. There is no funky or weird layouts and designs that you may find that other less expensive calculators have.

> 3 dayI love this little calculator. Nothing terribly special about it but Ive used them for years and the button layout is great and Im super familiar with it. Rugged little unit with battery and solar. Handy sales tax function which is handy when doing repair estimates in my auto shop.
