It is cute but very small would no9t call it a door stop

We love this doorstop. It is heavy and truly does the job it is made for. The item itself is a beautiful cast-iron portrait of the standard dachshund. A must for the dachshund item collector.

Should have opened it earlier to inspect it; I would have sent it back. The left side of the face and the ear are flat and rough like it was not cast in the mold correctly. I bought it as a gift and set it back in a closet until his birthday. When the gift was opened, I was so embarrassed by how bad the item looked. I am surprised they shipped an item that looked that bad. Shame on me for not inspecting an online purchase.

This doorstop is very cute and a great size but not actually heavy enough to hold a door open if that door is particularly heavy or has any sort of spring hinge functionality.

The size and weight of this dachshund doorstop is perfect. Our little dachshund sniffed around it for a few seconds to make sure she did not have any competition I suppose. It really does the job and is a great little conversational piece as well.

We use this cute door holder in our bedroom. Sturdy enough to withstand dogs and still be a reasonable weight.
