My extension pack came with 1 blank resource card and 1 blank development card. By blank, I mean there was no image on one side of the card. Not what I was expecting, but the extension pack was still playable. I suggest all buyers double check their extension packs come with complete cards while the return policy is valid.

Good stuff

Either I got a fake version, or their quality control has gone down the tank. The numbers on the pieces are in inconsistent font sizes. That said, there seems to be some sort of pattern between font size and probability of rolling that number (higher probability, the larger the font size). Nevertheless, this wasnt in the original version, and it just looks cheap. My friends version does not have this variable font-size. Returned it. Hope to buy a quality copy locally.

We absolutely LOVE this game! We are addicted to it. We have a game night every weekend to play it. Every now and then we introduce new people to the game and hook them too.

I can now play Catan with 5 or 6 people instead of just 3-4

Catan is a great board game that is fun for casual and serious players. This expansion adds more players, which means more madness to the game. The product is great and I recommend it to anyone who has a large group wanting to play this game!

Excellent game! 3 of the 5 in my family really enjoy the game and the other 2 who dont enjoy games as much also enjoy playing some. The extension is needed to go to 5 or 6 players but we enjoy playing with the larger map even with 3-4 players. Great to mix up the rules and make the game new even after having played many times.
