The screws that should be used to loosen and tighten the hoops will not budge unless you use pliers. In my opinion that makes these useless. I had bought to give as gifts, but I would be embarrassed to tell the recipients that they won’t work as they should.

I’ve bought this 12 pack from this seller quite a few times now. Some packs are perfect, and some have quite a few misshapen and completely unusable. One time I contacted seller for a replacement, and they were very nice. This last purchase I bought 3 12 packs and one pack had about 9/12 hoops that were misshapen, didn’t fit together correctly, etc. I’ll be returning that pack and keeping the other two. The price of these is great but considering purchasing more than one pack in case you need to return one.

Item arrived quickly. Works great for small craft projects

I like the quality of Caydo hoops. The bamboo feels sturdy and firm (they are about 4mm thick). The circles fit together without gaps leading to good tension for embroidery. The screws are a little industrial (bright silver with large handles) but are easy to tighten well and never have that blue protective film. Ive also never had a single fastener break off in my hands. One hoop in this package was split and splintery even after sanding but 1 out of 12 is a better ratio than usual and more than half needed no sanding whatsoever to use with thin/fine fabric.

Used these to make christmas ornaments with cloth and vinyl! Everyone loved them!!! The only downfall was that there was a blue protective film on the metal clasps and it was super hard to get off! I didnt even get it completely off all of them before making them! It was nice to keep it protected so it wasnt all scratched up, just hard to get off, even with needle nose tweezers.

I bought these to wrap in ribbon/washi tape for decorative framing of finished pieces. The quality is not great, some were splintering upon opening the package. Some dont want to tighten enough - they wouldnt work well for actually embroidering in. I think they are significantly overpriced for the quality, and would not purchase them again. I think theyll work well enough for my purposes, since I will be covering the wood with fabric or tape, but I wouldnt recommend them.

These little hoops are perfect for the small embroideries Im making for a craft show this month. They were easy to use and the screws were a good quality. Some people said removing the blue scratch- prevention cello was difficult, but with a PR of tweezers it pulled right off. You can add a little bow tacked on at the top...and tie a little ribbon or string on top to hang it by. They would make nice Christmas Tree ornaments.

I have purchased 48 of these, and I will be back for more. They are smooth, consistent and a great value for the price. Just what I need and I LOVE them!
