I read the one star reviews before buying this product and went for it anyway. In my experience, I opened the exterior bag and there was zero smell. I took the charcoal bag and took a big width again nothing. Then I crunched up the charcoal a little bit in the bag and took a big whiff again no smell at all. I hung one near the kitty litter. My nose is so sensitive, I can smell kitty litter after just one pee. I just checked, and there are two pees in there for me to scoop. I cannot smell kitty litter at all. If you were at all hesitant from the one star reviews, I recommend taking a chance. At this price its definitely worth a try.

I do have a small bathroom with very little ventilation so it is helping with the humidity we didn’t like the charcoal smell as the beginning but then few hours later it started fading and after was just gone Thanks

Mold and mildew from water damage

I am not sure what to think. There is no way these should smell this bad out of the bag. I could see No scent at all. Also, I could see if they didnt work as well as they say they should. BUT I cant even stand to put them in my cupboard.... they smell like cigarette smoke. I will likely try a different method of removing odor. ***** I changed the star rating because the seller handle my concerns immediately! Thank you to the seller!

Good product. I used it after my wood floors were painted due to my son needed to sleep in his bedroom and I didn’t want him to aspire the odor and it worked. This type of Smells could last for at least 2 or 3 weeks. By day 5 none! I would buy it again.

We ordered a product called Natures Fresh but the product that was sent was labeled Basic Concepts which was confusing. Natures Fresh was recommended by Consumer Reports for odors, mildew, mold, dust, etc. Upon opening the bag which contained 4 pouches with hooks, there was a very pungent odor, one that I felt in the back of my throat the first evening. We hoped that the odor would dissipate after airing out for a day. We strategically placed the bags in the laundry room, master bath, kitchen and family room. By the next morning, we did not notice the odor from the bags as we had the first evening. We have noticed the air to seem fresher and breathing though sinuses to be clearer. My hope was for this product to eliminate indoor irritants and allergens in a nontoxic, odor-free manner. I am hoping that this product will do the trick, but havent used it long enough to be sure.

This product is excellent. I used them in my garage. All of the musty garage smell is gone!
