Chatelet Hard+ Hardside Luggage with Spinner Wheels, Chocolate Brown, Carry-on 21 Inch, with Brake

After dragging around a cheap soft sided carry on for almost 10 years (it was embarrassingly tattered & falling apart), I decided to replace it with a good quality hard case. I had a long list of features I knew I would appreciate and this bag has every one including having both halves of the inside zip closed which is strangely VERY difficult to find! I just received it today and though I havent traveled with it yet it appears as beautiful as it is practical! It feels sturdy but light, the wheels spin effortlessly even on thick carpet, and no detail has been left overlooked. The travel hanger, two drawstring bags (one looks perfect for a pair of shoes, the other likely for dirty clothes) and multiple zippered pockets make it easy to stay organized. Will update once Ive used it some but Im confident Ill only grow to love it more. As an aside to anyone debating between this case and the much more expensive Brics hard side carry on (which Ive seen the inside of as my sister in law has one) this one has many more features and In my humble opinion is just as attractive. Would 100% recommend!

I really love the look of this carry on and so does everyone else, judging by all the compliments I received when using it on a recent trip! The inside is nicely lined and zips completely on both sides to hold everything in place. The only downside is that it is not expandable, but I found it adequate enough to hold what I needed for a one-week trip. I purchased the matching backpack which is a really nice piece as well.

The case alone weighs 9.2 lbs. Some airlines limit carry on to 17 lbs. The case then reduces the amount of items you can take - if this is the only luggage you are taking.

The size of this bag is great to place in the overhead. I must admit I have not used it yet, just the larger one, but my wife loves it on her trip overseas. I like the hard case after having a soft one get ripped by baggage handling. Waiting for the underseater now.

Love this luggage and even bought the handbag to go with it, but not for the frequent business traveler. Mine started falling apart and breaking after about five business trips. Took it to a Delsey luggage dealer and they couldnt do anything about it. Ended up throwing it away. So, now I have the handbag with no luggage to match. Very disappointing to have spent that much on luggage and only use it for about a year and a half. Wont be purchasing this brand again. If you are a travel one or two times a year person you could probably get away with it.
