> 3 dayWe bought this luggage to replace a former Delsey luggage because we liked the quality. The size and looks were great. We fit a weeks worth of clothes/shoes with no problem. Each side has a zipper cover along with the belted strap so things stay put. Maneuverability through airport/hotel was good. We had an issue on a flight from Honolulu to Maui, when we picked up our bags we noticed the outside of the bag looked like something spilled on it. When we got to hotel and opened the luggage, whatever it was that spilled onto the luggage leaked inside through the area where the decorative strap is attached to the bag (attached with what looks like a large staple if you unzip the liner and look underneath). The leak was something oily (our guess was someones tanning oil). The liner had oily marks and so did the liner bags that had our shoes in it. The oily substance got onto a pair of sneakers. We cleaned the luggage up as best we could but used a large piece of plastic over the liner to keep our things safe until we got home. The only caution I would give is that the lining on the blue luggage is red/orange color. If it gets wet, the color could bleed. I spot treated and washed the oily liners and they came out clean. The only trouble is cleaning the luggage liner by hand. We plan on trying to seal the area somehow where the bag leaked so we dont run into this problem again. Other than that the luggage was sturdy and traveled well.

> 3 dayBest luggage weve ever had and weve had a LOT of it over the years. Quality. Attractive. Roomy. Distinctive. You cant go wrong with Delsey Paris Chatelet. The ONLY drawback is that its heavier than other hard-side suitcases. But ... theres that quality. That makes up for any faults. If thats even a fault.

> 3 dayAs I was checking out Delsey accessories to match my 21 inch Delsey carryon suitcases, I noticed several reviews that said luggage cracked - a couple said they cracked after only one trip! I just want to say that I have had my luggage for almost 10 years and both pieces are still intact. No cracks deep scratchs nothing! And yes, it is lightly scratched in a few places, (easily buffed out with furniture wax) but not compromised in any way as to make them unusable. In fact after my last flight over Christmas vacation, they were scratched all over with black marks that looked like tar or asphalt. I got out the comet cleanser and a rag and scrubbed them all over. When that didnt completely remove stain, I wiped off that mess used plain acetone to get black marks to a minimum, be mindful of keeping these cleaners away from the darker leather) and used cleanser cloth with water again & dried completely. Then buffed with furniture wax to protect. They look like new. The interior lining is in need of replacement from years of cramming too much stuff and breaking the zippers on last trip, Im going to have interiors refurbished at 1/3 the of price of new Delsey luggage! Yes. I like it that much.

> 3 dayI liked the maneuverability and the fact that both compartments zip closed. One compartment is smaller than the other so you can put items youll use immediately in that side.
