> 3 dayThis comb is a replacement over the combs I have used before. Other combs were giving me static but this Chicago comb never gave me static on hair whatsoever. When using it for my beard it went through the hair like butter. After use the hair on beard feels silky and smooth

> 3 daySo, for those of you who like combs wide enough to drive a truck through, this is your piece. I must have mis-read their description, because I expected a fine+wide comb and - as you can see by my picture - the fine tines are nearly as wide as an Ace wide tine, and the wide tines are...just plain huge. Perhaps if mens perms come back into style theyll be useful. (for those who want to check their favorite comb, the fine side of this comb has 2mm o/c tines and 4mm o/c tines) Okay, substantial disappointment in the usefulness of the comb aside, its clearly a premium product for a simple comb. The tines are free of flash or other defects. The body of the comb has an excellent matte finish, not unlike carbon fiber composite 3d printing materials. A quick check with the multimeter shows a 400 Ohm resistance end to end and I was unable (at 50% RH) to generate any static charge in my hair. The Ace comb I have reads open circuit with the multimeter, and breathing on it before brushing though my hair is a necessity unless I want it to stand on end. The size - nice - substantial and easy to hold; this isnt a pocket comb, but its not meant to be. The tines are pleasantly stiff without being immovable. I would say this is a top quality product that simply didnt match (what I consider to be) the standard of fine tines, which makes it unusable for anyone with anything but coarse, curly hair.

> 3 dayGlides through my beard like a hot knife through butter. Love it. Replaced a Kent comb with this one. No regrets.

> 3 dayI know right? Carbon fiber comb, why? Because im tired of the little teeth breaking off after a year, i need something with strength, with heft. This is it, i originally wanted to buy a metal comb but when I learned about this company, this was the way to go. I have no doubt this will last over a decade.

> 3 dayGood product and well made. I think it’s slightly overpriced and wish it came with a case but overall I recommend it.

> 3 dayI bought this comb for my beard, plastic combs create static and cause frizz, this comb is truly static free. Great size (although bigger than pocket comb) good spacing between teeth. I would definitely recommend for use on beards!
