> 3 dayAlthough I got this originally through kickstarter, I bought another one here because, quite frankly, I like their products a lot. Theyre sturdy, light, and work as intended (its a good comb, but its still a comb, of course). Personally, I rather dislike those black plastic combs that you get everywhere. They tend to pull more on my hair (starting to get longish) and this seems to pull less, even though it doesnt flex as much as the cheap plastic ones. I dont know. But for a fairly basic tool, I think it looks nice, and works really well (and is, somehow, even lighter than the plastic ones, if weight is a concern, for camping or whatever). Recommend their products.

> 3 dayThis product is exactly as advertised. a high quality comb. It does not build up static when repeatedly moved through hair. I contrast this with the also sturdy and less expensive ace rubber comb which does build up static charge.

> 3 dayThe model 6 comb works perfectly. It is a good size/length for holding. I think is is made from carbon fiber reinforced nylon (or polycarbonate). The teeth do not bend and they are smooth so you dont scratch your scalp when you use the comb. The fine teeth might have been finer, but that is nitpicky. The comb is kind of expensive for a comb although I dont have plans for needing another.

> 3 dayThe comb works great. Stiffer than all the hard rubber combs I have, which is good. Seems to generate less static and thus snag less frequently than rubber combs too. It is kinda pricey - I could have bought 2 or 3 combs for the price of this one. I would buy another to keep in the second bathroom if the price were more reasonable, but Ill stick with this one and see how it holds up over time.

> 3 dayTwas fate that brought Chicago Combs and I together! I had 3 Kent combs on the way from Amazon. Ive used them in previous years but no longer owned any, so I wanted to get something familiar. Well... the delivery was late one day, two days, and suddenly deemed Undeliverable. Anyway, I looked around for something else, albeit similar, and quickly stumbled on Chicago. I started researching which combs are highly regarded nowadays, and I found a ton of glowing reviews on these, especially on YouTube. Beardsmen seem to love these combs! I now own a carbon fiber #1, #2, and a #6 and I have to say, they are amazing. Surprisingly sturdy, glide through the beard without snagging, and absolutely no static buildup. You could easily let a hair dryer have its way with these too, and it wouldnt matter. I feel like #s 7 and 8 are probably in my future as well, once the beard starts getting really long. Overall, a great alternative to the plastic combs of old. Highly recommended!

> 3 dayI surf almost every morning and most combs I tried either broke/warped after a couple of weeks or got tangled in the leftover saltwater/sand. After I researched Chicago Comb on their website, they are legit. The wide gaps between the teeth on the one end do a first pass to smooth out the tangled mess and then you come back in with the smaller side for the actually styling. Its awesome. I dont even know what carbon fiber is, but its super light, stays strong and makes me feel like I just flew a jet fighter. Buy one.

> 3 dayAfter 15 years with a pair of cheap Goody combs, I finally bought some new, more expensive replacements. The Carbon Fiber #6 is my new favorite. It generates zero static, combs very smoothly, and is incredibly light. The comb has a unique sound compared to plastic. Ive been surprised how much nicer it is than the cheap combs Ive used for over a decade. For a larger comb that lives in my bathroom drawer, this is the one. The fine teeth appear to be about 1.5mm wide and the larger teeth are 3mm wide. I also bought a Chicago comb #1 in stainless steel, and I like it as well (it is certainly all the comb I need and more), but it is heavy and, while smooth, it does not have same magical feel as the #6. The metal comb sings a little more as it passes through the hair--some people like this, I prefer the quiet and sheer lightness of the #6. The Carbon Fiber composite material feels (and sounds) totally different from a typical plastic comb. I dont think I would trust its durability in a pants pocket, but in a drawer or toiletry bag, it is excellent. I had never used an anti-static comb before, and (with dry hair) the difference is remarkable. Both my steel and carbon combs are smooth and static-free, while my old Goody comb and the Byrd pocket comb (pictured far right and far left) generate a lot of static. If you are spending $10-$15 on a comb and dont intend to carry it in your pants pocket, then the #6 is my vote.
