Chicka Chicka Boom Boom (Chicka Chicka Book, A)

Kids love this!

This book was recommended to me when I was doing my clinicals as a Speech Therapist in Public Schools. I later read it to my kids and someday hope to read it to my grandchildren. The fun rhythm of the wording and the way they combine that with learning the alphabet is ingenious! Every time after reading it I spend the whole day saying the Chicka-Chicka-Boom-Boom litany! Its addictive! Trust me, this is classic or your childrens library.

A fun way to teach the alphabet... This book had great rhythm and colorful illustrations along with silly letters that cant seem to get it right! A cute book.

Overall this book is such a fun and inviting way to introduce the alphabet to young readers. Chicka Chicka Boom Boom invites interaction and will be a great tool for students who are trying to learn the alphabet. If the rhythmic words dont grab you in, the bright pictures will! The colors used by Ehlert in the illustrations are so captivating and really help bring the story to life!
