> 3 dayVery easy to install and these have held up against my 13 month old. Giving this 4 instead of 5 stars as the bumps on the slide are plastic instead of rubber, so you really have to use a fingernail to unlock it.

> 3 dayIt’s not bad.... my daughter a one year old fully able to walk around and pull on everything, we’ll she broke three off and we had to find another kind of thing to get it to stick better

> 3 dayI got these so my cats would stay out of the cabinets lol. I hate these ones because not only do they go on the outside of the cabinets and look horrible, but they are almost impossible to get off again. The adhesion is great if you are keeping a little child out of something dangerous, because they will never come off again, but the aesthetic in the kitchen is just awful with these big things on there. They are very large, which makes them look worse. These would be great for a toilet, since that would have to be on the outside, but for cabinets, just ugly and we are still fighting with one to get it off the cabinet.

21-11-2024new review: It turns out the stickiness is good enough to put them on the ridges of the doors, and they work great! Our little one is no longer able to get into the areas with cleaning supplies and other hazards. old review: Works great, but these aren’t long enough to work as locks for locking all our double door barn style cabinets. I couldn’t find any products that were long enough though.

> 3 dayI originally bought these from a different vendor and Ive had those latches in use for a little bit over a year. Then I needed more to baby proof the kitchen so I got them from a different vendor, but they are the same as the first ones I bought and they have worked great so far. They are really easy to install and easy to use. Pros and cons based on my experience are listed below so you can make your own mind about it. As for me, I would definitely buy them again. Pros: - They are adjustable, just cut the plastic to the size you need. - Good for little kids to stay out of the cabinets. Even when I leave one open my daughter loves to walk by and close it herself (she is 20 months). - Very practical so when you only have one hand available, you still can open and close them easily. - Easy to use for everyone. They are super easy for grandma to use. I bought other latches for which you need to bend down and use two hands to unlock and they were hard on grandmas back. She is so happy that I switched to these ones. - Easy to install. - Can be installed in various surfaces. I used them for the toilets, dressers, stove, and cabinets (see photos). I am also planning on using them for the fridge, washer, and drier once the kids are older. - Can be removed without leaving any residue behind. To remove you can just use a hair dryer and something flat (I used a butter knife to avoid leaving marks). Make sure you use the hair dryer for enough time otherwise you will be left having to remove some sticky residue manually. - Can reuse since it comes with additional 3M tape. Plus you can just buy your own 3M tape if you run out. (this is also a con, see below) Cons: - One of the latches keeps falling of my cabinets (I bought more from a different vendor so I dont know if this is the one that falls or the other, but since I have about 20 latches in use, one not sticking is not a big deal) - The removing part can be tricky and tedious: (1) You have to use a hair dryer for about 4 to 5 minutes to remove each sticky side so about 8 to 10 minutes to remove just one latch. (2) Prior to removing you have to make sure the latches are closed, otherwise they will become unusable. I removed one while open and I couldnt close it again. (3) Once you remove them for the first time, the part where you adjust the length gets a little lose so it is easier to open. I am not sure when the kids will figure this out, but I am assuming once they are a little bigger they will and I may have to replace them for new ones.

> 3 dayI bought the plastic version(from target) before. Usually ended up broken by kids or pushed too har that plastic tip. But this one you dont need to worried about breaking. Perfect for make up drawer.

> 3 dayI have purchased 3 different brands of the child safety locks with the 3M adhesive. I can now say that they aren’t all created equal. The Wappa locks advertise that you can get 10 for the same price as everyone else sells 6. I think these are inferior. When setting them up, the initial process of locking the strap in place is almost impossible. I always need to ask my husband for help and he’s always convinced it won’t work just before he finally snaps it in place. Not that big of a deal since you only do this once. However, I’m also convinced that I can tell which are which once installed – I just feel like the Wappa ones aren’t as smooth to lock shut. I always push twice to make sure they are fully engaged. I don’t do this with the Wonderkid. They are basically all the same but now that I need a few more, I’m buying the Wonderkid for a second time. > 3 dayI’m writing this because of all the bad reviews for this product. My husband and I used these on our bar cabinet. They were easy to install and my toddler couldn’t figure them out. We ended up selling the cabinet so I took off the straps and it was rather difficult but it didn’t leave a mark.

> 3 dayPerfect for toddler proofing doors/cabinets/refrigerator. My son is two years old and the stick is strong enough to handle him yanking on door. Be sure to put fixated end on door, not wall. I put backwards as u can see in Pic and now I have pull out each time when closing door. I have these all over house now and they give me a lot peace of mind for my toddlers safety.
