Great price and works well!!

These seem like very versatile hooks to put on standard roofs, but unfortunately did not work on our metal roof. Our roof edge was too thin for the clips to stay on. If there was a rubber or gripper on the inside of the clip that may be enough to work. But as a DIY project, might be easier just to buy different clips.

These are easy to assemble to gutters and underneath roof tiles. They did come undone in several spots when <a href=https://chicago.cbslocal.com/2021/12/16/chicago-high-wind-damage/>a heavy Chicago wind storm</a> came, mostly do to the orientation of the cord on the roof due the wind direction. I absolutely love the plastic storage box. Most of these types of products come in cardboard boxes that deform over the years.

Simple and easy to use. Left them in the strands of lights after Christmas for next year.

Not very strong

These clips are made of low quality plastic and do not hold up well in outdoor use. I would say will last about 3 - 6 months tops outside before theyll become brittle and break...bringing your string lights crashing to the ground. This has now happened twice (I had a lot of brand new leftover clips and thought Id give them a second chance), but both times I had the same result. No way I can recommend these.
