I have the T-Rex chameleon and it is very noisy compared to CIOKS DC7, CIOKS DC7 is thinner lighter and overall feels better quality than the T-Rex. The package includes many cables with different lenghts and it is very handy.

After using two other power supplies, I tried the CIOKS DC7 because of the variety of voltages it offered and the compact size. Because of these features I was able to mount the DC7 underneath my pedalboard, saving valuable space, enabling me to mount and power my 2 channel mixer on the board. An added bonus is the power cord is a standard cord, not the usual flimsy wall wart type. I definitely recommend the CIOKS DC7 without reservation.

Awesome pedal power. Much better than my MXR and my one spot. It meets all my needs and more. Great for high MA usage pedals. Super clean with no added noise. This is the lowest profile pedal you can get. I use it with two splitters and I am able to power 9 pedals.

I think this is the future of pedal power supplies. Low profile, light, quiet, isolated, all outlets switchable, not made China. More flexibility than Truetone, less costly than Styrmon. The one peculiarity is special cables with RCA plugs on one end. While this doesnt cause a problem, it doesnt solve one, either. Just be aware that you may need to buy some extra cables since the cables used by every other power supply in the universe will not work with CIOKS. But the CIOKS cables are cheap and readily available. By the way, its also expandable with the DC4 unit which adds 4 more outputs but chains itself to the DC7 so you still only have to deal with one AC plug. Very nice.

Dont Skimp on your pedalboard power brick!!! This replaces a battery-backup Power Brick with limited Amperage considerations - good for what it was, but not all pedalboard pedals were accommodated as required. The CIOKS DC7 7 Isolated DC Outlets Power Supply is amazing. It powers the TC Helicon Mic Mechanic and Harmony Singer 2 and the vocals are cleaner - crisper. The ToneDEC and JamMan Looper and other pedals have similar praise for increased performance. I am completely satisfied with the CIOKS DC7.

I’m late to the power supply party. For ten years I ran a daisy chain from a one spot. Yeah, I’m cheap! But after watching multiple reviews of the Cioks power supply systems, I pulled the trigger and bought the DC7. Best decision I have made in years. Instead of splurging on an expensive pedal, buy a powerful power supply!

Just enough ports for me and I like having the ability to set the voltage for each port. The USB port it a bonus for my tuner that uses USB power!

I bought the Ernie Ball volt thinking it was going to work for me and then I realized it didnt have enough MA available. When you use strymon and Universal pedals you need a little more power. I love this unit because I can double up and maybe triple up on one input for pedals that dont need all the juice that the other pedals need. I love how small it is. It fits under the pedaltrain Metro beautifully. I used velcro but I could get one of their clamps. But so far so good. If I had to say one thing negative it would be the RCA plugs used at the unit.. but I guess those are easy enough to purchase

Ive been playing guitar for over 20 years. Ive gone through nearly every power supply known to man. Im pretty sold on Strymons Zuma and Ojai stuff, but I wanted to build a smaller 12x18 board (compared to my normal 18x32) board to reduce my footprint a bit. I also wanted to build something that I could take up to my newborns room to lull him to sleep. The Zuma was way too big to fit under the board, so I decided to give the DC7 a try. While Im not particularly fond of the RCA jacks for the power on the DC7 side, this power supply provides tons of power. You can power almost anything with it without having to worry about is this the 300mA output or the 100mA output? Compared to the Strymon stuff, its built like a tank too. Im not getting rid of my Zuma and Ojais on my big board, but the DC7 (also paired with a DC4 - it expands!) does the trick for small spaces with big power demands. Dont cheap out on a power supply - pick one of these bad boys up, stop worrying about power concerns, and get to playing.

Limited Edition Red DC7

The CIOKS DC7 is an excellent and reliable power supply that works with standard low-current up to the most power-hungry effects pedals. Despite its slim one-inch profile, the DC7 provides a maximum of 48W from all its outlets. Thanks to its two-stage switch-mode power supply topology, DC7 achieves an ultra-low noise power. You can plug in high-current Eventide pedals without worrying about any unwanted hums.

The small-sized power supply features seven isolated DC outputs and an additional 5V USB outlet. You can connect the DC7 Power Supply with CIOKS 4, CIOKS 8, or other compatible units with 24V input voltage (via Flex Cables) if you want more isolated outlets.
