CIOKS DC7 Pedal Power Supply, Limited Edition Red (Gear Hero HQ Exclusive)

What does it do well……just about everything! Plenty of power (amperage) on each of the 7 ports. 4 voltage choices on each of the 7 ports. However you already know all this if you have researched this power supply. My opinion for what it’s worth, if you need what it offers get it. If the price is a factor my next recommendation is the MXR ISO Mini, the 5 port one. MXR offers a 10 port version also. I liked the mini because it actually offered more power per port. Back to the Cioks DC7. I think it’s the best out there. I like the RCA connectors at the ports on the DC7. Much better holding and more stable with a solid electrical connection. It came with all the connectors I needed including a + center cable for my Radial loopbone pedal. As far as reliability…we shall see.

Exactly as advertised. It is quiet, well-built, and delivers. The cables supplied are appreciated though they do not supply cables, 8800 or 1002, that split or join. I had to order them from Sweetwater.com. Not expensive, just another task before getting things setup right. In all, a really nice product and I definitely recommend.

I’m absolutely in love with this power solution - it’s small and quiet and does the best thing a power unit can - it barely lets you know it’s even there.

This is hands down the best power supply on the market. And if you buy the Cioks grip you dont even have to drill holes in your pedalboard. Fits under the pedaltrain metro 24, 20 and 16 perfectly. If you need power options that are not included Cioks has different flex cables for any situation. Not all are included though.

1. Low profile, so fits under my Pedaltrain board nicely 2. High power output, so good even for power hungry pedals 3. Voltage is switchable for each, not just on a few ports I originally bought this to put a Helix HX Stomp on my board (which requires a separate cable). Fantastic, one of the best IMO.

Versatile, noise free power in compact design.

Just enough ports for me and I like having the ability to set the voltage for each port. The USB port it a bonus for my tuner that uses USB power!

This is my first CIOKS...and its better tgen I expected...no noise or hum, even when close to all the pedals in a bunch...gonna buy the expansion models when I need them...moving forward this is the brand/model for powering my pedals!!! Highly Recommended!!!

RCA to Barrel connector proprietary wires. The barrel connector is smaller than others and doesn’t work on all pedal connections. All of the barrel connectors are right angle. Can’t connect to my Bass wah pedal. I wish I had gone with the Strymon instead. Power isolation is good. Nice form factor and easy dip switch voltage configuration.

I used the screw template and mounted it under my pedaltrain metro 24 and it does not touch the ground, which was my biggest concern before the purchase. I have 9 pedals linked to it and there’s no noise and no power issues
