Greater than one weekI have a 40 ft, 50-amp 5th wheel and needed a way to connect to power when visiting family with our RV. This adapter was able to power most of my supplies like my work pc, all lights, tv, and electric water heater through their exterior residential 3-prong outlet. Bang for the buck when you need to “moochdock”. TIP: before plugging in, make sure all power in your RV is off or it might cause the beaker to flip in my case. I turned the remaining lights and appliances off and plugged it back in and powered up with no issues.

> 3 dayThis is only a three wire unit,2 conductors and 1 ground. If you want 250 volts this will not do it for you you need 4 wire a red, black, white and a green ground. For 50 amps you will need 6 wire.

Greater than one weekHave a new camper??? That ridiculous long cord that you have to use- with adapters, is no more!! We have burned through handfuls of adapters in our years of camping adventures. With this purchase being our newest favorite, I have to share our thoughts. This is used for our everyday use now. We have rv parking at home, so we have our trailer always plugged in. When we camp, (which is often) we use a generator for power. This replaced our stupid mess for power cords and adapters! We haven’t had this for very long, so there is no way to say it’s perfect. Just as an experienced camper, I suggest always having a backup one or two.
