Greater than one weekGreat water filter. Top notch. The filtered water coming out of this filter is excellent quality. My only reason for giving it a 4 star rating is that the hose fittings are fixed so you have to twist the hoses on and off of the fittings. The unit is built like a tank. Excellent quality. Like I said though it would have been a bit nicer if the incoming hose fitting was not stationary (non-rotational).

20-11-2024I definitely like the Clearsource RV Water Filter System. There was a slight issue in the initial hookup due to a loose fitting on the intake side, but after reaching out to Clearsource a new fitting and a surprise new filters were sent to fix my issue. I installed the new fitting and the system worked flawlessly. The water tastes good and my family no longer have to bring bottles of water when camping. I would recommend the system to any RVer looking for a better solution to filtering water and not having to bring cases of bottle water to the campground.

> 3 dayOutstanding filtration. Removes all the noxious tasts of well water. We don’t know how we lived in our motorhome without this filtration system.

Greater than one weekMuch better than the hose cartidges I used to use for my travel trailer. Water is clear and tasteless when this filter is used. Note the product is heavy and it is necessary to tip it on its side to drain the water before transporting or storing.

> 3 dayEvery thing was fine until not quite a year later (in 10 days) the hard freeze here in Texas cracked both canisters.

Greater than one weekBefore buying this system, I was having to bleach our RV water system every few weeks to get rid of the strong sulfur smell which I believe was a result of iron in the well water reacting with the magnesium anode in our water heater (I dont recommend bleaching because it can be hazardous, but it was the only method Id found to work, and I was getting very frustrated with this water smell that would not go away). Weve been full-timing for a few years and this problem just started at our latest location where we use well water. I emailed Clearsource to explain my water problems and they replied within minutes and gave two recommendations for me to choose from. They offered to customize my order to place an iron/Rust Inhibiting Filter on the inlet side and Coconut Shell Carbon Filter in the outlet side (the other option was a three-chamber system which was bigger than I wanted to use).
