Does not contain any alcohol so there is no burning. The taste is unusual, but not offensive, and you get used to it. It leaves my mouth tasting very “clean” as opposed to overly “sweet.” It also seems to eliminate offensive odors and not simply mask them like other products.

Dentist suggested this and so far is working fine think….very mild and not strong flavor.

The chlorine smell nearly knocked me down when I first opened the bottle. It smelled like I was about to gargle with Clorox. I left the lid off for a couple of days and let the smell dissipate some before actually trying the rinse. True to its word, it does not burn at ALL, and is very gentle as far as sensitivity goes. It tastes very lightly of mint, the aftertaste is nothing but minty (although I use mint toothpaste immediately before), and it does seem to whiten some. It certainly cant hurt in that department what with all the chlorine in it. All around seems to do what it says, although Im not using it for severe periodontal disease or anything like that. I have Invisalign, and they require I use a gentle mouthwash. As I can only have them out for an hour a day total and I use that time with meals, Id rather not use something that will stain my teeth/the trays and then immediately put them back in my mouth overnight.

We keep ordering this for years now. Dentist recommended it and it is great.
